If you are a backpacker, this is a good choice. It is cost-effective, close to the train station, and there is a 7-11 downstairs opposite. The smoking area is downstairs near Exit 1 of Ebisu Station or on the road to Ramen Kanmi. There are no drinking water machines and self-service washing machines. The only problem is that you have to check out at 10 o'clock every day and can't check in again after 14 o'clock, but your luggage can be locked in the locker. Both locals and foreigners stay here, and it feels like many people don’t have time to go home and spend the night here😂. Eating and drinking are prohibited in the capsule room area and must be kept quiet. There is a rest area on the second floor where you can charge, use computers and eat. This is a gender-separated capsule hotel. The bathing floor is very clean and provides hairdryers, private and public bathing areas, and sauna areas. But if you are a ***, please abide by the rules and do not touch others at will or do strange things in the bathhouse to avoid violating Japanese sexual harassment laws. Most people there are very polite.
If you're a backpacker, this is a good choice with high cost-performance and close proximity to the train station. There's a 7-11 right across the street. The smoking area is downstairs near the Ebisu Station Exit 1 or along the way to Kamuro Ramen. There's no drinking water dispenser or self-service laundry. The only issue is that you have to check out by 10 AM and can check in again after 2 PM, but you can store your belongings in a locker. Both locals and foreigners stay here, and it seems like many people who miss the last train come here to spend the night 😂. The capsule room area is quiet and doesn't allow food, but there's a lounge on the second floor where you can charge your devices , use your computer, and eat. This is a gender-segregated capsule hotel, and the bathing floors are very clean, with hair dryers, private and communal baths, and a sauna. However, if you're ***, please follow the rules, avoid inappropriate touching or strange behavior to comply with Japan's sexual harassment laws in the shower room. People in there are nice!

In Japan, where every inch of land is valuable, it is a great place to get this room. The hotel is very close to Ebisu Station and is convenient to other places. The surrounding area is also relatively quiet and clean.
The waiter probably didn't speak Chinese, but I was a little late and prepared some basic vocabulary, so I checked in without any problems.

Overall, everything was OK. The room I stayed in was because there was a restaurant downstairs in the hotel, so due to the smoke exhaust problem, my room was filled with the smell of smoke from the kitchen. It was so smokey that I couldn't sleep at all. Later, the Japanese girl who worked the night shift came up and found that the smell of cigarette smoke was indeed very strong, but the room was full on the day of check-in, so she had to do this and promised to help me change rooms the next day. Since the restaurant downstairs was closed for the New Year the next day, the kitchen was not working and the smell was gone, so I didn’t change it.
What left me a little speechless was a guy on the night shift in the hotel. He looked a bit like a South Asian or a Southeast Asian (certainly not from Thailand or surrounding countries). His English was not fluent. When I spoke a little faster, he looked confused. , I was stunned and didn’t say anything about continuing to communicate or trying to understand what I said. Because I went to Japan just to buy things and go to parks like Disney, I bought a lot of things. The hotel also helped me collect several large boxes that I mailed from Kyoto. The flight was back to Thailand in the morning, so I booked a car to come to the hotel for drop-off at three in the morning. I went downstairs at three in the morning and said I wanted to pick up my luggage, but the guy on duty in South Asia actually told me to pick it up at this time. No, because all the employees were asleep, I was really speechless. The things were placed in the employee room next to the reception. I said I had to catch a plane now. I had to leave now. What do you mean I couldn't get it? ? ? Then take it out for me. I borrowed a small flatbed truck from the hotel. It was really small. It was even too small to pick up express delivery. The quality was not very good. I had nine large pieces of luggage. I just walked from the hotel front desk alone. I took the elevator many times and carried my two hundred kilograms of stuff downstairs. The staff saw it and didn't even ask politely if I needed help.

It is a brand of express hotels under Prince Hotel, with an excellent location, close to Ebisu tram station, and convenient to Daikanyama on foot. The old store of Majila is just a few steps away. Check-in is self-service, the room is small, but it is fully equipped and very clean. The breakfast is prepared and tastes good. But please note that check-out is at 11 o'clock, and you will be fined ¥1500 if you exceed the time limit, which is a bit annoying. In addition, you cannot store your luggage after checking out, and the locker is only for those who have not checked in.

im gonna be really honest in this review of the SINGLE BEDROOM so pls read carefully !
the room is OK. my ratings are as below BUT!
bed - OK 8/10
bathroom - OK 8/10
the only problem w the single bed room is the disgusting smell from the kitchenette. the ventilator smell is absolutely diabolical ! the smell stains your clothes and its smells the whole room. the wood features are also smelling of old wood.. which sucks.. the aircond on the other hand releases what smells like mouldy-air..
the room itself was OK but i srsly suffered for 2 nights while sleeping there and it caused me a headache.
location wise: IT IS FAR FROM THE TRAIN STATION !!!!!!!! it is close by the bus stop which you can take to the train stn / straight to shibuya but it is not a short walking distance to the train station !! at most it is about 20-25 mins ! pls take note of that.
amenities & service - 10/10 ! the front desk was helpful & they provided all the necessary items such as toothbrush, razor, shampoo etc
otherwise, i guess it does its job to house people overnight / 2 !

The hotel is located 10 min walk from Shibuya stream and train station. The staff was amazing and the service was great! They offer lots of things for they’re guests! Beer for free from 15:00-18:00, and they also gave me 2 coupons for free drink between 18:00-21:00. Also, soft drinks are for free 24/7. For smokers there is a small rooftop on the 7th floor that you can chill there as well, play pool and drink something. Also they offer cleansing gel, face wash, razors etc for free.
The room was very cozy, not that small as most of the hotels in Tokyo, and everything was very clean. The breakfast was amazing and they offer several of options. I also had dinner (they serve until 22:00). I order ceasar salad that was incredibly tasty, and a burger that was so so. But in general the overall experience was wonderful! For sure ill be back!

5 hotels I stayed in Japan|Tokyo|Steak for breakfast🥩hotel
Hotel Chinese name: Yabei Hotel Tameguro
Hotel's Japanese name: ホテルアベストMeguro
Hotel English name: HOTEL ABEST MEGURO
Hotel address: 〒141-0021 Kamiosaki 2-chome 26-5, Shinagawa-ku, Tokyo
Hotel English address: 2 Chome-26-5 Kamiosaki, Shinagawa City, Tokyo 141-0021 Japan
1. The hotel is a five-minute walk from Meguro Subway Station. Just across the road, very convenient.
2. The hotel entrance is on the street. It is not easy to find because it is very busy. I took a photo at the entrance.
3. The check-in front desk is on the third floor. You need to take the elevator to the third floor. There are two elevators, but they are not universal. One is dedicated to accessing ci from the first floor to the third floor, and the other is dedicated to reaching guest rooms on the floors above from the third floor.
4. This temporary reservation costs RMB 906 per night, including breakfast for one person. There will be a breakfast coupon for breakfast. You will only be given one coupon for how many nights you stay. Unfortunately, it is a pity that I did not eat it. I cannot comment on the quality of the steak for breakfast. However, there is steak for breakfast, which is a bit of a surprise like seeing strawberries 🍓 in a Dubai hotel breakfast.
5. This time we arranged a smoking room where you can smoke. But for safety reasons, it is recommended not to smoke in the room🚬
6. The hotel breakfast is on the 3rd floor, 7:00-9:00. What’s interesting is that steaks are served and there are aunts cooking them on site. If two people eat a steak out, it will cost about RMB 300-400 in Tokyo. This way Counting the room fee, it’s quite a lot.
7. The size of the room is also terrible. It is definitely relatively large in Tokyo. There is a lot of food and drink around the hotel, and there are also shopping malls to visit. There is also an izakaya and restaurant in the elevator on the first floor of the hotel.
8. The hotel uses traditional keys to open the door. Sometimes the service staff will bow and watch the guests go to the elevator and close the door.
9. There are many comic books near the breakfast room on the third floor. I don’t know if they are for rent or for sale.
10. The hotel gets on the train from Meguro Station, which is about 15 minutes away from Shinjuku and Harajuku. The Yamanote Line reaches the B15 exit of Shinjuku Station, and it takes 8 minutes to walk to Kabukicho. On the Tokyo Core Yamanote Line.
PS focus:
There is a century-old tonkatsu restaurant opposite the hotel.
The one called [Tonki] is particularly recommended, although there are a lot of people in line. But it’s definitely a tonkatsu restaurant worth visiting. The first one on the menu is the whole pork cutlet for 2,300 yen. If you queue up when you come in, order first, then go to the seat and sit and wait. There will be a dedicated staff member who takes your turn to call you. You have to dine on the first floor. The first floor is a small terrace. Several staff members perform their own duties. You can add cabbage, soup, and rice🍚 for free. The pork chop is very unique and is very delicious even if it is not hot. , it is very appetizing with the unique sour soup. The soup is pork and tofu, and the beer is 650 yen. Anyway, you must try it. I will continue my business trip to Tokyo next week and will go there again.

The front desk can speak English, there are food places downstairs, and it's a few minutes' walk from the subway station. The room is a little old, and the window can be opened for ventilation. The WiFi network is normal.

Great location: you can see the hotel from Platform 2 (JR Yamanote Line) of Gotanda Station (see pix taken after check-out).
Staff are friendly and eager to help. Never had a problem finding someone who spoke English.
Our twin room lacked a closet and only had 7 or so clothes hangers, but the beds were comfortable. The toilet/bath were clean with strong running water. Other amenities were a flatscreen TV, electric kettle with tea sachets, a small ref and a hair dryer. There was also a room on the same floor with a microwave and ice machine.
On the ground floor was a Family Mart and an Izakaya with a friendly, informal vibe. The second floor had an Italian restaurant that served pretty good pasta. This was also the breakfast place, but I never tried it. In a 60-meter radius, you could find all types of restaurants. There were also girly bars nearby, but we never felt unsafe. On our last date, its proximity to the station made our trip to Narita pretty early in the morning-- first trip to Shinagawa and the Keikyu Narita Express is at 4.50+AM-- pretty easy. Really a great location.
With a stay at Shinagawa Prince Hotel, you'll be centrally located in Tokyo, within a 5-minute drive of Tokyo Tower and Tokyo Bay. This 4-star hotel is 4.3 mi (6.9 km) from Tokyo Imperial Palace and 5.9 mi (9.6 km) from Tokyo Big Sight.
Don't miss out on recreational opportunities including indoor tennis courts and a fitness center. Additional features at this hotel include complimentary wireless Internet access, concierge services, and babysitting (surcharge).
Grab a bite to eat at DINING & BAR TABLE 9 TOKY, one of the hotel's many dining establishments, which include 5 restaurants and a coffee shop/cafe. Wrap up your day with a drink at the bar/lounge. Buffet breakfasts are available daily from 6:00 AM to 10:00 AM for a fee.
Featured amenities include complimentary wired Internet access, express check-in, and dry cleaning/laundry services. Self parking (subject to charges) is available onsite.

Good sized room with a decent sized bathroom. You can choose from a number of eateries for the included breakfast. The breakfast buffet alone was worth the stay.
It is right next to Shinagawa station, which allows for easy access to the metro, JR Lines, and Shinkansen

Outstanding
GGuest UserI am a book lover myself, and came to stay here for 2 nights in March a week before Easter, mainly for the library theme and book selection. The hotel itself, the book lounge, and the book libraries on each floor was all very very good. However, upon my checking in, it was obvious that the male receptionist on the left pay more attention to Caucasian guests rather than me (an Asian solo female traveller). I had the impression they just wanted to get rid of me asap, and then served the Caucasian guests behind me.
During the whole of my check in process, no one mentioned anything about the special libraries on each floor, no one told me about the free beverages offered “at the far end corner for the reception desk”, and definitely no one mentioned anything about he QRcode library tour!!! I stayed for two nights and it was only after the first night (when I read the books inside my room that I knew of ANY of the services I mentioned above). Of course one may say I could read all those on the signage’s provided in the property. But then…
Upon walking into the reception desk the next day, I did hear the same male receptionist explained in great detail (everything I mentioned above)in English to other Caucasian guests.
I like the library premise of the property, the books selections were great, exhibition on the first floor was quite nice, however, I am not sure if I would stay for a second time, knowing how they treated solo female Asian guest whom they assumed was not civilised enough (that was my impression) to deserve a thorough introduction about this lovely bookish hotel from them. Quite disappointed to be frank, especially knowing how much history this hotel has included!!
JJoyceLocation is great -5 mins walk from station. Rooms are decent size for Jap standard and hotel is modern and classy, doesn’t feel dated. No need to join the breakfast at hotel as lots of options nearby. 7/11 attached and Starbucks and cafes and shops within 2 mins walking distance. Sawamura ( turn right at Starbucks) has yummy bread and pastries and there is a line queuing up for lunch every day before 11.
GGuest UserExcellent hotel and special mention to Justyna
Location: Prime spot in the heart of Shinjuku and one minute walk to Shinjuku station exit 4, and less than five minutes to other exits.
Room: Extremely clean, modern, spacious, fantastic housekeeping.
Facilities: Washing machine, dryer, hot/cold water dispenser.
Service: Top notch hospitality from staff who are very friendly and courteous – special mention to Justyna who was extremely helpful with my queries days leading up to my check-in, as well as throughout my 7-night stay, and she always ensures that my requests are fulfilled promptly. Thank you Justyna and team!
GGuest UserKeio hotel is located in Shinjuku. Their rooms are reasonably size and the staff are nice and helpful. There are many restaurants around the hotel, and Lawson convenience store is located opposite the hotel. It takes about 5-7 minutes to walk from the hotel to Shinjuku's JR Station.
LloobenjaminExcellent service staff especially Miss Fujita mending the checkin counter. She has been very friendly, helpful by providing us with a lot of information, explained in detail about the hotel facilities and even recommended us to some site seeing locations in Asakusa. Hotel is in a very strategic location within the heart of Asakusa, accessible by 2 metro line, with great 7-11 just a few steps away from the hotel. Definitely going to repeat our stay there in the future.
AAnonymous UserI arrived early morning hence was only able to leave my luggage at the reception. Check in was at 2pm and the hotel was nice to accept my request prior to booking for a room on the ladies floor for security reasons and I am also a solo traveller. Amenities like toothbrush, comb and tea packets are provided at the reception too. My only wish is that I hope in future the Hotel can provide at least an international or English movie channel for foreign guests.
AAnonymous UserVery clean, spacious, the biggest room I got so far for single occupancy, able to open my suitcase n still got space to walk around comfortably. Very convenient just 7 mins walk to/from Ueno station or 4 mins to/from Okachimachi station. Kensei Skyliner to Narita airport just short walk from Ueno station. Good for last min shopping at Ameyoko Street (Uniqlo/GU, supermarket, Daiso, Donki, etc). Delicious & affordable Chirashi Don Sushi bowl (must have). They also catered free half portion ramen at night, yakult & ice sticks after Onsen (manga at the entertainment room). Definitely will stay again.
AAnonymous Useri booked the triple room as it was the only room left. there was space for only 1 large luggage - the room was a little old but bed and duvet surprisingly comfy. onsen was small so it got a little crowded as the hotel was full that night. location was great - tho the nearest ikebukuro stn exit with lift, C9 (vs 20b), is a little further from the station. excellent authentic chinese food nearby (豪妈 on google maps), and a family mart just across the street. great hotel!
GGuest UserI love the location it’s super convenient. Staff are super polite and smiley.
Service wise is not good too many strange rules firstly, there is no phone in the room. In case u need one it’s near the elevator on each floor to speak to the staff.
The twin bed are way too big for us 2/3 of the room. I can’t even open my suitcase easily.
Only one elevator in this 14 storeys hotel right next to their emergency stairways. There is a sign saying if you are in a rush please use the stairways but we were on the higher floor and it’s so cold February a few degrees Celsius ???? Well no thanks I shall wait patiently then……
No daily cleaning service we stayed 5 nights the hotel offered one time cleaning during our stay. All the dirty linens and garbage have to be placed outside your door by 10am if new towels needed. Strangely one bottle complimentary water was given to 2 guests daily together in a bag of towels and slippers toothbrush garbage bags. Only one washing machine ¥600 35mins, dryer ¥300 60mins available (cashless payment only) Onsen too small and poor facilities.
