Hotel opened less than a year ago. Everything is new and the design is very modern. Location is in the middle of Shinjuku so it was close to everything. The hotel staff was very attentive and the connection between the lobby (on the 18th floor) to the concierge in the ground floor was always in sync. Breakfast at the main hotel had a great view for a nice clear day but selection is limited. They have a second buffet in their neighbour hotel (17th floor) that has more selection. I would not really recommend this hotel for younger kids due to its design but overall great hotel.

Fantastic hotel in prime location in Shinjuku. We stayed on the Grand Premier levels which includes a really nice lounge with snacks and drinks and a private dining room which has a gorgeous breakfast of both western and eastern choices. LOVED breakfast. It's a huge hotel but has a huge staff to run it. Our room was large, it was quiet and the bed was comfortable. Best part is that Keio Plaza is on the Limousine Bus stop route but we didn't want to wait an hour for the next one from Haneda Airport so took the bus that stopped at Shinkjuki Station and it was truly a 5 minute walk from where the bus dropped us off. Get off the bus and turn left and walk straight and you will see the hotel. That easy. Taxis are inexpensive and plentiful in Tokyo. We had 4 people in our group and often it was worth it just to take taxis vs. the train but the train system was easy and the location to our hotel couldn't be beat.

We were looking forward to return to Hyatt Regency because we enjoyed our stay back in December 2019 but was surprised to learn that the complimentary shuttle bus service was discontinued. We end up walking from Shinjuku station to the hotel. Again, we were informed by the reception that the Japanese breakfast was not available anymore due to the effect of the pandemic. I wanted to take a swim the following morning before heading out and was surprised to learn that the swimming pool was also closed. I might not stay in this hotel anymore next time since several of the service and facilities that were there before were removed.

We truly enjoyed our stay here. The staff was so friendly (and they all spoke English) and it really made our trip to Tokyo so much sweeter and enjoyable. It was very refreshing compared to the other hotel we stayed at. We were treated very much like VIPs all throughout our stay. Special mention to Yui, Fred and Alexis who helped us with everything from finding stores, spas, restaurants, transportation arrangements, etc. And was super enjoyable to talk to. They even have great extras like free gourmet coffee, free happy hour drinks, and free morning post hangover shots. Lol! I really like the set up of the room. Its a well thought out layout. It’s spacious and the bathroom layout is separated like a suite - like shower and separate room for the WC. So one doesn’t have to wait for the other and both can use with privacy at the same time. And I can open all the lights on this part of the room early morning and do my make up without bothering my room mate. And black out blinds are really black out. Beds really comfortable. Well done. Definitely recommend and come back again.

Started here for five nights. Nothing fancy, but great value for a nice and comfortable stay. Perfectly lofted in Shinjuku, walking distance to most within the area and plenty of restaurants around. I like that this property is located off of a small side street and quiet. Check in was efficient and fast and morning breakfast is basic but enough to get one through the day. Rooms are actually not that small (I’ve stayed in smaller in Tokyo) for one person. Be prepared for a very firm mattress. Rooms have all of the modern conveniences. Wi-Fi fast and reliable. Lawson down the corner for provisions. You can opt out of daily housekeeping, and instead every morning a bag of fresh towels is left out your door which I really liked so one can speed in and not be disturbed. For the price and location I highly recommended this property. Toiletries are provided at the front desk for you to help yourself.

Great hotel, amazing staff - very friendly and helpful. English speaking at check-in too. Rooms have everything you need and is a good alternative to a capsule hotel for a similar price, but with more room and privacy. Breakfast is Japanese or Western style (eggs, sausage, bacon, yoghurt, sweetcorn soup) with choice of pastries and drinks. If you want to extend check out, it's ¥1000 per hour, up to 1pm. Excellent location for Shinjuku, Golden Gai etc. Lawson's and cafes etc also close by.

Shinjuku Gyoen-mae Station on the Tokyo Metro Mirunouchi Line Accessibility is better I was very tired on the day of my return, so I took the Nex train with my suitcase and luggage. I don’t have the confidence to walk 15 minutes to JR Shinjuku. Pay 600 yen and take a taxi Hotel quality is just as good as the price. Good physical strength Recommended for those who consider cost-effectiveness, I like that there is a 7-Eleven right in front of the hotel. I was assigned a room on the 11th floor, so I couldn't expect a great view in the sun, but there was a view that looked good in photos from the hotel hallway.

It's really great. The separation of luggage and sleeping area is a really excellent design. It can ensure that the sleeping area is absolutely quiet, and no one will make the sound of packing luggage in the middle of the night (especially the sound of paper bags and plastic bags). The entire youth hostel is really excellent. The overall stay experience and cleanliness are perfect. I stayed for 4 days in a row, and the pajamas, towels, toothbrushes and toothpaste in the bag were all updated every day, which was really great. It’s perfect for a single person. I’ll choose this place again next time I come.

My experience was a bit different than some other reviewers. Others referred to the peeling paint in the bath. My room musts have been remodeled (it was on the 5th floor) because it seemed newly done, and had a nice acrylic sort of covering on the walls. I stayed in a western room, and it had plenty of room as a single traveler. I especially liked the bath, as it had full Japanese bath facilities, including a wide variety of lotions and creams. The layout of the room was fine, with the toilet in a separate small room and the bath separate again from the sleeping area. The shower pressure was great, as is typical in Tokyo. I found the bed to be comfortable and the pillows were soft. My biggest gripe with the place is the wifi. For whatever reason, I found the wifi to drop constantly on my phone. My laptop security software gave me a warning of some outdated security settings on the hotel's wifi system, so I don't know if that was relevant or not. All I do know is that I found the wifi on my phone to be unreliable. In general, if you have a pocket wifi device for backup, this is a nicely-located, well-equipped budget choice near to Shinjuku.

I recently stayed at Imano Hostel in Japan and found it to be a blend of positives and negatives. I admit, I was nervous about staying here, having read a lot of negative reviews, but I needn't have worried. The hostel was clean and quiet, in a great location (close to Shinjuku, with other stations nearby). As an introvert, I loved the self-service concept - I could check in, check out and get breakfast without having to wait for staff. Speaking of breakfast, for a free breakfast I was impressed - coffee, juice, toast, eggs and yoghurt. I found the bed really comfortable and spacious - I also appreciated having a shelf for smaller items. I found the other guests were generally quiet and respected quiet hours. I've noticed some reviews mentioning the rooms are untidy - there isn't really anywhere to store larger luggage, so it tends to get piled in any available space. Smaller luggage will fit in the bunk with you. Showers and toilets were far cleaner than I'd been led to expect from the reviews, and there were plenty of them. I liked how there were common areas for being social (kitchen and reception) and for when you wanted some quiet (coworking space and outside dorms). However, I found that sometimes the coworking would ”close” (staff would ask you to leave) without warning, so it was difficult to plan around when you could use the space and when you couldn't. If the coworking space is not going to be available during the stated hours, it would be nice to have some warning. But all in all, I would happily stay here again.

I have forgotten to write about this accommodation experience, so I will make it up today! The location of the hotel is good. When you get off the plane that day, take the airport express and transfer to the subway, and you will be there in about 15 minutes on foot. There is no problem with Google navigation. This time I came to Tokyo alone to visit the 59th All Japan Model Exhibition. I went around in Tokyo by the way. The location of Shinjuku is very good. It is convenient to go everywhere, so I chose Shinjuku as my positioning when I booked the hotel. . The check-in was very smooth. The check-in form that was printed in advance was shown to the front desk staff and it was processed smoothly. The language is not a barrier, just a simple English conversation. The translation software in the mobile phone is also a good choice. The room is not very big, but the facilities are complete. It is enough for me to come alone. The bed is not hard and all kinds of bedding are very clean. I specially took a picture of the check-in notes for your reference. All in all, my staying experience was good this time, the service staff are very friendly, the surrounding environment is also good, there are 3 convenience stores within 100 meters of the hotel is very convenient.
