This hotel is so heartfelt. If you need anything, the staff are very helpful and friendly. I highly recommend trying the advanced snorkeling. The hotel's owner is professional and instructive; he taught us properly. We had an amazing snorkeling experience. He also knows about special places to visit. It's incredible.

Very clean room and all the facilities are equipped well and organized. Very special arrangement and beyond expectations. It is worth to come here and with family to enjoy the environment and holidays.

We had an amazing time staying at Xrector. The location is perfect, it’s situated right on the beach with an amazing view. The rooms are very nice looking, clean and high tech. There are universal plugs, a tv, air conditioning and a fan. The beds are clean and comfortable. There is an amazing lounge where you can relax, play games or watch a movie. There is a good Wifi connection available and a washing machine. The business is run by a family. They are very friendly and helpful. We got a warm welcome upon arrival, and they always made sure that everything was to our liking. The food they cooked for us was really good. There is also a very good restaurant nearby called 'mama's foodhouse'. The snorkelling tour is highly recommended. Mr Wee is an amazing snorkelling guide and is very patient to teach you the skills. He speaks English very well. He also speaks Mandarin and Malay. He first prepared us on the beach with snorkelling lessons (I highly recommend it), and then took us to the real adventure. We saw amazing places full of coral and other marine life like sea turtles and different types of fish. The island is beautiful. The experience we had here was amazing and unforgettable. We all wished we could have stayed longer at Xrector. I highly recommend it to everyone.

X Rector Finest in Tioman Island was very nice natural beach and great place to stay. We also took their private snorkeling trip and that was an amazing experience. Thanks Wee let me feel so enjoy in the snorkeling trip.

Breath taking holidays at a beautiful Tioman Island. Wee is amazingly helpful and attention to details. I have a bit of phobia of sea which I have overcome or even forgot what it's phobia after done the training session for snorkelling by Wee. The underwater it's fabulously beautiful, swimming between rocks and colourful fishes & corals just right Infront of my eye. This is call another paradise for me. I felt so secure in the sea because Wee was always around us to ensure our safety and his mum was there to take care of us too. His parents very lovely and make us felt like home. My cousin sis and friend enjoyed their karaoke 🎤😁 so much. 1) Very tidy and clean room 2) The view of the beach were nice and was peaceful 3) Wee's mum home cook food it's delicious 🥰 4) Neighbour Malay restaurant makcik nasi lemak sedap 5) well maintained homestay 6) location extremely convenient and easy to find. 7) the sea water is crystal clear My partner want to stay for a week but too bad he need to fly back to UK. So will be our next trip plan to come here again. Precious experience that I highly recommend Wee's homestay and snorkeling trip is a MUST.

Highly recommended if you want to have a beach holiday with kids! We are a family of 6 with 4 kids from 6m-12yo who were very skeptical before arriving (because we were afraid our 5yo son would not enjoy the trip as he can't swim) but we were worried for no reason! Room and toilet were clean, spacious, well facilitated, just nice for all 6 of us. We took the Fun Quest Snorkeling Trip. Mr Wee, the instructor, and also the owner of the resort carefully demonstrated the safety precautions before snorkeling. Extremely useful for first-timers, (or those who haven't been snorkeling for a longg time). After the demo, we went for 'snorkeling-training' in shallow water by the beach. This is to make sure everybody is comfortable with the snorkeling gears under the water. Some of our kids got to see a turtle swimming in front of their eyes during this 'training session'. Amazing! After taking a lunch break, the real Fun Quest begins. Mind you, we have previously went snorkeling in Redang but this is a whole new level. Mr Wee guided us through the whole snorkeling trip and showed us corals, sea cucumbers, sea urchins and many more. The highlight of the trip has to be 'swimming' with lots of black tip sharks. Not to forget, Mr Wee guided our 5 year old son to snorkel all by himself! Mr Wee also recorded many footages of us snorkeling & gave them to us for our own keepsake. Really appreciate it! While we were enjoying our snorkeling trip, Mommy & baby were resting at the resort. No worries because there's a Playroom for guests to watch movies, play games and more if you can't join the underwater experience. Overall, it was a very very fun experience and the value of this whole vacation is priceless. Thanks a bunch to Mr Wee for his service, passion and hospitality, his dad for showing us around once we arrived and his powerful mom who also joined us diving underwater. So inspiring! And of course, can't thank you enough for making our kids' first snorkeling experience an unforgettable one. Hope to return soon and try the Finest Snorkeling Trip next time!

We spent 4 days/3 nights at X Rector . Mr Wee met us at the jetty and as it was around lunch time , suggested a few venues for our lunch . X Rector itself is a quaint , well thought through place . Rooms are spacious and comfortable with a decent sized bathroom. Water pressure in the shower is a bit low but we have found that to be quite common on most islands . There is a tea room with cold drinks and fruit available for purchase ( including cold beer and cider ) . There is also a games room with free coffee and tea , plus some snacks and instant noodles which can be purchased . Wine bottles are also available for purchase . For your wet clothes , there is a spacious drying area so no need to worry about where to place your wet swim suits or gear ! The highlight of our trip was the snorkelling . Mr Wee takes safety very seriously so even if you are an experienced snorkeller , you need to go through the safety training . The snorkelling itself , through the caves and immense coral reefs were amazing and highly recommended . Mr Wee and his parents are lovely people and will make your stay extra special !

Stayed 3D2N at X Rector Minsu with my family, I can said it’s a hidden gem of Kampung Genting Tioman! I personally been to Tioman Island few times and stayed at different site(Juara, Paya, Genting), but this time, the experience is so different! If you wanted a peace and quiet retreat with your family & friends, this is the right place! The room is simple and clean, everything you needed is provided. The owner & family is dedicated and thoughtful. Can see they put in effort to provide as much as facilities in the property. There is “playroom” that allows the guest to chill, eating & singing inside. Drinks & fruits in chill is provided and no need to buy from outside because the price is the same. My family is so in love with the playroom. The difference part of our stay compare to other resort/hotel is the advance snorkelling experience. As the owner, Wee is instructor of diving, snorkelling & free dive, so we’ve been trained by him for tactic of advance snorkelling. The highlight of the trip and amazing part is the snorkelling site that Wee brought us to, the experience is different from other places. We saw many special sea creatures, closer look at turtle, shark & etc. Overall, it’s a happy and enjoyable experience of our stay in X Rector. Highly recommended! Lastly, don’t forget to order dinner with Wee’s mum, it’s nice home cooked food!

Had a great time staying at X rector. Mr. Wee is a great host and will make you feel at home. The room I stayed in was very clean, and I would definitely recommend taking the advanced snorkeling training + snorkeling trip with Mr. Wee. There are also lots of great options for home cooked meals nearby!
