City Express Plus by Marriott Tijuana

The breakfast was very poor quality, and the cleanliness was inadequate. The staff tried their best, but what the hotel offers as a company does not live up to its category. I do not recommend it and would not book with this chain again.

Clean. Modern. Friendly. Free extra light breakfast; if you want a proper breakfast, you'll have to pay.

The standard of a domestic budget hotel is even lower, with the restrooms and showers being comparable to those of a domestic hostel. Two security guards were on duty at the main entrance, suggesting the area's security is generally poor at night. Local guests on each floor occasionally left their rooms and made phone calls down the hallway, creating a sense of insecurity. Most of the local guests I encountered in the elevator gave off a hostile impression. The front desk staff was very friendly, polite, and helpful, and the two security guards at the main entrance were also very polite and responsive. A thumbs-up.

The internet speed was slow, the breakfast selection was limited, and it was very crowded; there were no seats available for breakfast in the morning.
