Pros:
1) Unique style, relatively new facilities, and a great shower.
2) Complimentary facial towels, snacks, and beverages.
3) The front desk staff (specifically a gentleman) was very kind and welcoming.
Cons:
1) The bathroom had a persistent, unpleasant odor right from check-in.
2) Our booking didn't include breakfast, and we didn't think to ask about it during check-in. Later, we saw notices that the hotel offered breakfast and late-night congee. Since we only had one day left, we didn't bother inquiring. However, the lady who checked us in should have informed us on the first day about options like how much extra it would cost to get a membership for these perks. This is a valuable way to attract customers.
3) We chose this hotel purely for its decor style, and the desk and floor are indeed beautiful. However, some elements, like the artwork above the bed, felt out of place to an amateur eye and didn't match the quality of the rest of the decor, actually cheapening the overall look.
4) The standard price for a twin room was around 440 or 480 RMB, which I think is not worth it. You'd get better value at hotels like Ji Hotel, Orange Hotel, or Atour (which also have more consistent and comfortable decor). We later switched to an Orange Hotel for only 320 RMB.
