The beds were very hard and uncomfortable. I often stay in Premiers and Travelodges, the beds at this IBIS were much harder and I felt bruised in the morning ! There were only 3 pillows in the twin room for 2 people, I have never had to ask for ”extra” pillows before. The staff searched for about 20 minutes to find 1 spare pillow. Finding the hotel using their postcode was very difficult. Weston Avenue is an access road to a large retail park with several junctions and roundabouts, ooh look shall we take Weston Avenue this way or that way and there were absolutely no signs to help us find the IBIS until we were at the entrance to their car park.

Surprisingly quiet given the locality of business. The reception staff was very welcoming and helpful. Room was clean spacious had all the essential needed for an overnight. The bed is always comfortable with a few minute walk to breakfast we were happy with our flying visit to a family function a few minutes drive.

I would like to say a Big Thank you to Lira’s Team in Travelodge Barking I.e. Khatija, Isa.Rif who made my stay comfortable and helped me due to my disabilities. I found Lira and other member of staff very polite, friendly and understand customer needs. I would highly recommend to use Travelodge and guarantee to value your money. *****BZ ****

I requested double bed and it was confirmed by hotel but when reached hotel still end up getting two single beds instead of a double bed

I stayed here 2 nights for an event in London. I arrived early evening and had no problem parking. The staff were friendly and professional, my room was spacious, clean and had the basic amenities I needed. The location was great, having just a 5 min walk to the station one side and a fantastic walk along the Thames and to an RSPB nature park the other. The exterior of the hotel could do with a lift (couldn't we all!) but what small business has been in a situation recently to spend money on anything but the strictly necessary..? I slept well and I would stay again.

This is an excellent hotel, with good facilities, lovely central courtyard, plenty of free parking, and very friendly staff. With Chatham and the Dockyard nearby, the location is excellent. Not certain which category to put this hotel in! It's not luxury but better than budget. The rooms are a little dated and the TVs need upgrading. The shower, again, a little dated. We booked a room for three as our adult son has learning disabilities. He was delighted to find he had a separate bedroom with his own, small TV. The rooms were clean, the hotel tidy, and a very good breakfast was included in the price. Overall, good value for money.

Another one night stop over at this rather worn out looking Campanile which still had modem connections: yikes. That said, it was still an enjoyable stay all the same. (The Campanile's at Liverpool and Manchester have the same worn look). If people are traveling to the ferry port or euro tunnel then this is hotel is a must, as a one night stop over. Its always best for travellers that they should be south of the Thames if its to the ports they are traveling too. The room was clean and tidy and the staff more than helpful and the hotel is not far from either Asda or the Bluewater shopping centre - get out and about (there's a good walk along the Thames also). The breakfast was very good and included in the booking price. All in all a good night stop over in a good hotel, in a good location and with excellent staff (never know bad ones) what more do yo want. Bon journey

I stayed at this hotel with my sisters and we had 2 rooms. The reception staff was very pleasant, helpful and professional. We arrived about an hour before check in time and were pleasantly surprised as the rooms were ready . Spacious rooms , well maintained and clean . The bed linen etc was also very good . We actually ate dinner at the restaurant and it was freshly made and good value . Breakfast next day was also plentiful. The hotel was quite busy but staff seemed to be working very hard .

Checked in yesterday after a lovely lady from reception called to check what time I was arriving so she could arrange an ice bucket to go to the room like I requested via email. Staff all very welcoming and friendly. Went to my room, which was more than suitable. All very clean. They had decorated the bed as a romantic gesture for me and my husband. The details were wonderful and put a smile on our faces. Robes and slippers were provided and neatly laid out on the bed. Before my husband came to join me, I was there a while to pamper myself, I ordered room service, and had a ham and cheese sandwich that came with delicious hot fries and ordered a large Diet Coke. Delivered by a spritely and pleasant gentleman.The food looked great all on a tray, fresh and tasty. The bed was very comfortable, everything was easy to find and the curtains were brilliant, kept all the light out. Really happy that they had a heater that you could control and as someone who gets rather hot, it had a fan setting. This made my stay extra enjoyable. We had dinner in the restaurant, it was a lovely bright room, good choice of music. We both had steak with was cooked to perfection, we both went to a restaurant in Ongar last week where we paid £40 EACH for fillet steak, it was awful!! Your steak beat theirs hands down!! Everything in that plate was absolutely delicious Desert was delicious and we had a well needed rest on our comfy bed. We had a breakfast in the morning, and we were more than happy to wait as we were told there would be a slight delay as there were large tables that had sat for breakfast from yesterdays event. It was nice that the lady advised us but showed us the way to get some refreshments tea, coffee toast juice you name it, it was there. Breakfast was delicious, all cooked very well. We stayed here half board. We would definitely recommend staying here.
