A friendly welcome from Larissa & Isobel with information about the local area too. Lovely area & hotel in great location by the square. Short walk to the Riverside & lots of restaurants although we found the Red Ox just along the road & had a lovely meal there. Our room was lovely & looked out over the street. Nice comfy bed & very nice breakfast! Liked that you could boil your own egg so have an egg exactly how you like it & hot too! 6 minutes gave you a perfectly cooked egg with a nice soft runny yolk! Car park is undercover and not far away via a walkway from the main street. Our car was safe in this car park and we paid for the parking at the end of our stay. We loved the area of Thun. The wooden bridges with all the flowers in the summer are beautiful and watching the surfers that had attached themselves to the bridges and were taking it in turns to surf was entertaining! There were also tight rope walkers practicing across the river! Wish we'd had longer than 1 night! Thank you Hotel Krone!

The friendly reception at the reception was the beginning of a wonderful stay. We booked the small room, which surprised us with its generosity when we moved in. The room was newly renovated and tastefully decorated. The clear view of the Niesen and Lake Thun is stunning. Everything in the room was very clean and well maintained. In the late afternoon we ate with a funeral party on the terrace. The food was excellent and the service friendly and speedy. As a guest, it is a dream to be able to experience this genuine hospitality. Thanks!

First of all, the room is slanted, and the bathroom has serious drainage. For breakfast, you know, Western-based, very general, the tricks are repeated. The only dissatisfaction is that the front desk will disappear for 5 minutes. I have experienced it twice. I have called someone. Their hotel told me to wait. The result was more than 5 minutes.

Stopped off on our way to the Valais . Were content with our stay. Reception was friendly, beds were comfortable, parking opposite only 4 CHF for 24 hours. Breakfast was great, and we had a cup of tisane in the evening from the lobby after enjoying our meal in the hotel restaurant very much Pizza, fish bits and cordon bleu with a generous starter salad went down very well with a bottle of local wine (petite arverne) Staff obviously enjoy their job here. Would stay here again any time.

To be honest, the hotel is worth the price. It is a monument renovated in itself. There are still many people who come to visit. It is the commanding height of Tuen, and you can see the snow-capped mountains and the whole city. There are a few points of Ctrip and reviews that seem to be not mentioned: 1. Arriving at the hotel, you need to take the elevator or climb ten floors on foot. 2. Located in the center of the old city, it is not convenient to drag the suitcase. It is a stone road and uneven. I am single travel, the transportation is mainly train, so I am very tired to drag the suitcase to the neighborhood. I am stupid before the steps that can't see the end. I asked the local talents to know that the elevator from the nearby parking lot can be directly reached (-7 floor to 3 floor) breakfast is ordering. The menu is German, the waiter is old and not enthusiastic. It is best that you can eat bread without ordering. I ordered fried eggs, juice and coffee, cheese and stew with my mobile phone translation software. The dining environment is very good, suitable for net red photos. The room facilities are average, the things are well hidden, you have to find them carefully, but you can still stay for one night, the bed is soft.

The century-old shop is located in the city center. The first floor of the residence is a coffee restaurant. It is not far from the train station. It is the back entrance of the Thun Castle across the road. The entrance of the small door goes along the stairs to the castle. Western-style breakfast is abundant. The room is big with three beds, clean and hygienic, comfortable mattresses, high-end bathroom decoration, but there is no elevator to check luggage to the third floor!

The hotel is located near the Thunsee. It has a large terrace that will certainly invite you to stay in summer. The rooms are quite large and very clean. The toilet with shower is also sufficient for 2 people to make up. If something wasn't exactly like my taste, then it was the mattress in the bed. For me it was just too soft. The breakfast buffet was excellent and had a wide selection of bread, fruit, confectionery, etc., I can recommend this hotel further.
