Marine Palace Beach Hotel

Marine Palace hotel is very nice to stay at it. The staff is very profesional and the atmosfer is lovely. I am guest at the hotel every year since 90-tys.and still vill be here next year too. I live in Sweden where is always cold and I am happy to know this hotel there is always my room waiting för me.

IT IS an excellent Hotel with very committed staff and ***ager. The rooms are Larve and pleasant with AC You can relax easy. Staff will Support you anyway in finding interesting sights around So this review is justified.we recommend this Hotel for everyone

We arrived to nice people at the frontdesk and had a big room with both sittingroom and bedroom. The room also had a nice big balcony with a good seaview. The room, including bathroom, balcony and fridge, was not clean. Towels and bedsheets seemed clean and AC + fridge were functional so instead of making a fuss, we decided to buy some cleaning utensils in a local store and spent some time the first day fixing the room to our satisfaction. After that we had a really nice stay and enjoyed the space we were given. We avoided eating at the hotel and stayed away from the pool, which was small and looked so dirty that we feared it could damage our health. It didn't matter though since the ocean was so close to the hotel. We stayed for five days and one night there was a very loud party in one of the other rooms. At 3 am we asked the nightguard to react which he did promptly in a very respectful way. The hotel has a bar which is in a very dark room but we enjoyed the oppertunity to buy a bottle of wine and take to the balcony, which by the way was situated at a road-corner with heavy trafic. Don't expect a quiet moment but expect a 2-star experiece.

When we first arrived we were not too sure we were going to like it to be honest. But once we refreshed from the long travel we really enjoyed our stay here! The rooms were all clean and had good wifi connection. Perfect location on the beach, plenty of shops and cafes and a taxi/tuktuk rank just down the road. The staff go above and beyond to help! They were all amazing with my two young girls and we felt like family. Shri the ***ager is brill! So kind, couldn't fault him! The pool is ok could do with little touches but they are working hard on improvements. They do provide pool/beach towels on request which is a bonus. We stayed in one of the suites, room 301. It has lots of space, large king size bed and a single next to it, a seperate living area with sofa, table and chairs then a huge balcony with the best view. We have been home two week and miss it already. I do hope we can visit again sometime.

Yet again another great stay at the marine palace this hotel is getting even better WiFi throughout the hotel now which is brilliant the place is clean comfortable and handy for all the local amenities the staff are all honest very friendly and go the extra mile to make your stay perfect and a big thank you Tom Sri the ***ager for everything you done for my family we highly recommend this Hotel

Just returned from another 3 weeks at the palace and yet another great time with the marine palace family very friendly and helpful people the new ***ager will fit in his role perfectly after the sad loss of Mr Hari Kumar I recommend this place to any easy going person and the best of Luck to SRI we will be back. Pool needs work 😉

Overall the hotel was decent and the staff is really helpful. What they lack in terms of establishment, they make up for it with their service team. We had breakfast and dinner and it was decent.

This is a budget hotel on sea side in Kovalam. Polite and very good behaviour from all the staffs of hotel. Clean and specious rooms. Restaurant needs to be improved. No fish dishses are available in the hotel. Overall it is very good option to stay for a week .
