Beyond the great location with a room overlooking the Sydney Opera House, everything else falls short when compared to Capella Sydney. The hotel's service feels incredibly stingy, unfitting for a hotel of this caliber. Firstly, all staff (except the doorman) weren't very enthusiastic. The lady at check-in had a forced smile throughout, didn't offer a room upgrade, and the room we got wasn't even in a great spot compared to others of the same type. We were given a small piece of chocolate upon arrival, and when we asked for another because we liked it, we were told no. The breakfast buffet only offered some fruits, yogurt, bread, and juice. If you wanted an omelet, you had to pay extra after inquiring. It's ridiculous!

Park Hyatt Sydney's location is absolutely incredible, right across from the Sydney Opera House. It's worth staying here just for the view alone, and I was extremely satisfied with everything else too. We even saw fireworks at night! The privacy on the first floor was a little lacking, but the amazing view totally made up for it. Both the service and the facilities are top-notch. I loved it and was very happy with my stay.

Overall, it was great. The view was nice, but the room service food was just so-so.

The room was tiny and offered no value for money whatsoever, apart from the view of the Sydney Opera House! The à la carte breakfast was incomparable to what you'd get back home.

The view was amazing. I overslept and missed breakfast, but I'm sure it was wonderful.

My child got some rash on his body after sleeping on bed. Breakfast was charged extra. The staff said would whatsapp me, but No follow up after reflecting breakfast extra charges. Better check bills before leaving.

This place is well worth it for the view of the Opera House alone. The cleanliness of every single facility is exceptional. I was so happy to have had such a worthwhile stay~♡

The room had a great view, and the bed was large enough. The hotel staff were very welcoming and even escorted us back to our room. The breakfast had a Chinese menu and was quite delicious. The shower gel and other amenities were good. Although it's an older hotel, it was well-maintained.

The best view among all the hotels in Sydney! A truly classic location! A postcard-perfect view! The service was also excellent and attentive! The staff were friendly, professional, and patient! Thank you to the staff for going to the rooftop to retrieve our dropped items. I also recommend sunbathing by the pool!

I made a same-day reservation and arrived, only to be told the deposit was $1,300 instead of the original $100. It’s not that I don’t have the money; I had been traveling for three months, so my credit limit for that day didn’t reach that amount. Since the room accommodation was prepaid in full, I asked to check in with just the normal deposit, but they refused to the very end. I acknowledge that this is hotel policy, but I felt like it could have been resolved if a manager-level official had approved it, yet they insisted it wasn't possible. What’s even funnier is that when I asked if they could refund me if the deposit didn't amount to that, they said that wasn't possible either. I’ve traveled to 65 countries over four years and used to be a Hyatt Globalist, but this is the first time something like this has happened, and I’m just laughing because it’s so absurd. I had a similar experience at the BVLAGAR Hotel in Tokyo a while ago; back then, check-in was naturally allowed (since I had paid in full), but they let me in on the condition that I refrain from using the Mino Bar. Here, however, they refused to budge. They claim there are cases where same-day reservation guests vandalize property. I really don't understand how that has to do with a same-day reservation at all. I was disappointed that there was so much ****** in such a beautiful country like Australia, and the hotel was disappointing as well. Of course, I doubt Australians care anyway. Considering that the essence of the hotel business is hospitality, the overall attitude is terrible. There is no superficial ******, but their eyes speak for themselves. This is the first time I've left a review after traveling abroad for four years. The location is good, though.

The scenery was undeniably beautiful, but the service was terrible. When I asked a waiter to change the cutlery at breakfast, they just frowned and said, "What?" (While it's a common kind of meanness from white people, it felt incredibly uncomfortable compared to the Capella Sydney). Also, I found a hair in my pound cake at breakfast. When I asked the staff, they said they'd tell the kitchen to be more hygienic, so... well... However, the ambiance was indeed lovely and photogenic.

The atmosphere was fantastic, the location was superb, and the service was excellent. I loved it! I'll definitely stay here again next time!!! Highly recommend it!!!

The view is amazing, and the breakfast includes regularly changing Asian specialties.
