we enjoyed 3 nights in Shangri-la Sydney. nice and clean but location is uphill so not the best option for family with stroller

My room has a good view and the foods taste well, i think these 2 factors are the only good things about this hotel. The price isn't worth its service. Super slow response. Unethical cleaning service lady who claim my rooms is switch on dnd sign (which is not) when i asked her many times to clean my room (but nobody come) until i was very angry to the front desk. Even asking for somebody to help open my wije required me to more than 5 times to ask somebody. The location itself not really pedestrian friendly especially if you bring kids or elder people. You need to climb up the road all the way up. Better pay a bit more to stay in four season or park hyatt.

I love Shangri-La Australia Hotel so much, good location, stunning view, Great Staff, if you find somewhere to rest on your journey i really recommend this Hotel ＜3

Firstly, I have noticed that after the daily room cleaning services, certain items were consistently missing or overlooked. For instance, the bathrobe was never replaced, despite its regular use. Additionally, the housekeepers consistently neglected to make up the baby cot, as there were no bed sheets provided for it. Furthermore, I was shocked to discover that the glass I used was not properly washed. Even on the following day, I could still see sticky dirt residue on the glass when I attempted to reuse it. This lack of cleanliness is unacceptable and reflects poorly on the hotel's standards. Another concerning observation was that the dirty bathrobes were hung directly on the bathroom hanger instead of being replaced with clean ones. This raises doubts about the overall cleanliness and hygiene practices. To ensure proper identification of used or dirty bathrobes and towels, I would place them on the bathtub, as they would naturally become wet. However, to my surprise, upon returning to my room, I discovered that the wet, dirty bathrobes were hanging behind the toilet door. This leads me to question whether the housekeepers diligently replaced the bed sheets, as my child has been experiencing severe red spots allergy on her face when waking up in the past few mornings. Moreover, after making up the room, some of the replaced shampoo and shower gel were half-filled which means they were recycled from another room.

Lovely hotel, staff were excellent and food in Horizon Club amazing. Had a wonderful experience thank you.

I like old style hotel, the room is quiet, my bed is very comfortable😀. The only thing is need to climb to hotel as I am not driving I use public transport.

Took ages for water to arrive. Disappointed overall everything just felt below average

Not the greatest location, staff weren't friendly. Didn't feel 5 star at all. Bathroom amenities were not working as properly. I've been to a 4 star hotels which were 10000000% better than this. Won't be returning.

A bit old but everything was fine Worth the price Breakfast is a must ! The view will blow ur mind

Service was excellent. The girl at counter recommended a 2 bed room as I booked a king bed room for me and 2 kids. Also suggested to escalate to a room with view to Opera House. Best choice ever. Delicious view. My kids love the experience.

The site is very beautiful, in addition to the speed of check-in, the staff was at the highest level
