I recently stayed at The Palms for a belated birthday trip and had an overall amazing time. Starting off with the rooms- my boyfriend and I stayed in a junior suite, and considering it is The Palms' smallest and least expensive room, we were pleasantly surprised at the space. The bathroom is separated by a hallway from the bedroom, so it really opened up the space and made it seem huge. The king bed was plush and comfortable, and housekeeping always left the room in pristine condition each day. My one issue with our room was that the shower didn't get quite hot enough (was almost always lukewarm). This may have just been an issue with our specific room, but it didn't bother us enough to make a fuss. The resort itself is spacious and beautiful. We loved how the rooms were all separated into blocks. It minimized the noise and gave off a more resort feel. My boyfriend and I spent most of our time at the pool, which was always enjoyable. The water was just comfortably warm, and it had an expansive wrap around, so you never felt like you were too close to anyone. We were able to enjoy lunch service right from our chairs, which was great for whenever we didn't feel like getting up to go to the poolside restaurant. The only minor annoyance at the pool was how guests were able to reserve chairs. Many guests would put down towels earlier in the morning to reserve their spots and then not return until hours later or at all. This made it difficult to find open spots, as we didn't want to take anyone's seats. When we were able to find chairs, the pool staff was always extremely helpful with setting up umbrellas and laying out our towels for us. Lastly, the food at The Palms was consistent and tasty. Breakfast was served in a buffet style every morning in addition to an omelet bar. The choices were the same every morning which got kind of repetitive, but the food was always fresh and enjoyable. We mostly ate lunch at the poolside restaurant, and they provided enough options that we could try different things every day. For dinner, we ate either at Parallel 23 or L'Attitude Bar every night. We LOVED sitting at the bar- it was probably the highlight of our evenings. Dwane, who was our bartender every night, was very knowledgeable on his alcohol recommendations and was excellent conversation. The food at the bar was great when we were craving something simple, and Parallel 23 was great when we wanted something more upscale. Our stay at The Palms was amazing, but I am taking away one star for an experience we had at the front desk on our last night. My boyfriend and I approached the woman and gentleman sitting at the front desk asking if they would mind taking a photo of us, and we were met with an irritated look and an eye roll. We would've just forgotten about this, but after dinner that night, we had another similar experience back at the front desk. We again approached the woman at the front desk asking to reserve a taxi to take us to the airport the nex
