Hotels with Wi-Fi in Tha Wang Thong

Located in the center of Phayao city, this modern hotel is less than 30 minutes from every highlight attractions in the city. Our room was clean, beds were comfortable, and all things looked new. We had a pleasant night. Breakfast was served at ”Happy Mori Cafe” in front of the hotel next to its parking lot. More than 20 a la carte dishes (including Thai, American, Japanese, etc.) and more than 10 lists on beverage menu (including coffee, cocoa, milk ,soda, etc.) to be chosen (1 dish & 1 cup). We chose ”Mori pan-fried egg + fresh milk” and ”Stir fried rice with northern Thai sausage + ovaltine”. What a delicious breakfast! Only negative comment is there was no elevator, so we had to carry our (heavy) luggage to the fourth floor. Overall I think 750 bath/night is worth spent for.

We arrived in Phayao tired after a day of traveling (June 22, 2022) and were having trouble finding affordable accommodation and ended up here as it was the cheapest available. Well, we got what we paid for. I found the reception staff rude and when we got to our room it felt and smelled like the room was sealed for the last couple years. The smell of staleness and mold was terrible, there was mold on the walls and dead bugs on the bathroom floor. Maybe we were simply the first people in the room after covid but that was our experience. The place has a lot of potential and it wasn’t all bad. The bedding was clean and shower was nice, the cleaning staff were pleasant and we were able to park our scooters in their parkade.

Staff were friendly. Hotel rooms were reasonable in size and facilities, but the bathrooms were not super clean with mould. The shower was cold in the morning, we couldn't get the hot water to work. The breakfast buffet was fairly limited and our little one was sad there were no pancakes/waffles/french toast. There's a bar attached to the hotel, the Hollywood bar which had some fun live rock music going on and we adults enjoyed that in the evening. The fitness centre is also good. The lake view was beautiful though note it's not close. Oh, the swimming pool was also under maintenance so we were quite disappointed as it was super hot.

It's considered good. I'm a person who likes to travel and like Phayao province. The hotel is very good. The air conditioning is comfortable, not too cold and not hot at all. It's like the weather is just right. It's worth it. I really like it, so it's a shame to go. For one night, it's like going to the heart and mind. Overall, I really like it. 💖💖

The room is very clean. The location is in the city near the shopping center, 7 convenient walks. Overall, for us, this is okay.
