This hotel is not exactly smack in the middle of Cha-am nor Hua Hin. However, it is a true retreat by itself. Like an oasis that pops in the middle of the rural landscape just north of Cha-am, the weekend here was a bustle of activities. Very popular with families with kids. There were so many kids here filling up the main and kids’ pool on Saturday. As the weekend ended, on the late afternoon of Sunday and a good half of Monday, the resort turned peaceful. In the main pool, they have a permanent floating obstacle course called a Wibit. Breakfast and dinner, we had them in their main restaurant called White Oven. It was really an oven, the air-conditioning needs some work. Otherwise it was pleasing to sit outdoors in the light morning breeze. The breakfast was extensive, a good wide mix of local and western dishes. Moo Ping (pork satays morning version) was superbly tasty and tender. The gravy for Kanom Jin (Thai rice noodle) was of a good rich density. There was also ice cream served in the buffet. However, the chicken rice was off, and their Pla Tong Kor (dough fritters) was a failure in texture and in taste. For the two mornings I had them, I do not know if it was just me, they had a strong hint of something medical. The room we had was So Family that has two bunk beds tucked into the side behind the master bed. The room was a whopping 60 square meters and was intensely decorated.
