Hotels in Ginkgo Village, Tengchong

This is a fairly typical ”farmhouse-style” guesthouse. The owner provides pick-up and drop-off service at the scenic area entrance, and the service was excellent. As soon as we arrived at the room, they welcomed us home! The guesthouse is located near a popular online cafe spot, so the location is great – just a short walk away! Since the rooms don't have air conditioning, and the temperature difference between day and night in the village is huge, the owner thoughtfully provided electric blankets and regular blankets, so we weren't cold at all at night! The only drawbacks are the poor soundproofing. We could hear conversations from the next room, the TV, and footsteps from upstairs guests. The bathroom facilities are still the old-fashioned separate hot and cold water system, making washing up a bit inconvenient. The Wi-Fi signal is also weak. I suggest improving these aspects!

Ginkgo Pavilion is said to be the best hotel in the village. The boss personally picked us up when we checked in that day. He was very welcoming. The hotel environment is not inferior to other city-star hotels outside. It is clean and hygienic! There are many kinds of breakfast, and there is a big tree in the yard. It is very pleasant to chat and drink tea in the evening! The leaves are not all yellow yet, they should look better when they are yellow. I would like to add that the hotel is very private and quiet enough🤫

The room was spacious, with a large balcony offering close proximity to the apricot trees. It was a truly picturesque B&B, like returning home. The room even had natural hot spring water flowing into it. I'd definitely stay here again. Facilities: Excellent, with a large courtyard on the first floor for tea and ginkgo viewing. Service: Very friendly and attentive.

The small courtyard is very well maintained, and the owner is really welcoming. Since it was off-season, they even upgraded our room to a Kongshan room. The balcony in the room was lovely and comfortable, and the facilities were complete. The only minor thing was that the shower pressure was a bit low 😊, but if that could be improved, it would be even better! Wishing the owner a prosperous business!

The room was spacious, with a small living room, very cozy. The inn just opened this year and has a distinct local feel. The exterior is decorated entirely in solid wood, a truly luxurious experience. The beautiful hostess was also very welcoming and even offered us a taste of their specialty, the emerald green ginkgo nuts, which were incredibly fragrant. My favorite spot was basking in the sun on the second-floor balcony; the warm winter sun was so relaxing. Ginkgo Village is a small, tranquil village, covered in ginkgo trees. The leaves are just starting to turn yellow, making it particularly beautiful. The owner said it'll be even more beautiful in the coming days when the leaves start to fall. I look forward to visiting again.

❶ Location: In Ginkgo Village, 40 minutes to 1 hour drive from the city, we took the bus to Tengchong Tourism Bus Terminal, rented a car, and drove to the hotel. The scenery here is very good and quiet, but the premise is that there is a car, it is more convenient to go out. Secondly, you need to buy a tour ticket to Ginkgo Village during the day. One person is 30. pls: no one guards after 7 pm, you can save money to buy tickets. If you go to stay for one night, you can do this. Save a little. ❷ Room: The homestay is not far from the door. There is an open space at the door of the homestay where you can park. The store will keep it. The small yard is very beautiful. The key is that there are not many rooms in the store, but each one is very exquisite, with a sense of design, the room is large, and there is a living room. The room we live in has the roots of 3 ginkgo trees and the trunks below. I live in a special peace of mind, sleep comfortably, and have no dreams all night. Secondly, the bathroom is separated from wet and dry, the bathroom is large, and the disposable items are complete. There is also a tea table in the room, which is great for us who love tea. ❸ Service: The boss is very enthusiastic and takes care of it very thoughtfully. We washed the clothes and went out. The boss helped dry the clothes. There were fruits and dried fruits on the same day. It was the boss's freshly baked ginkgo fruit. It was hot and delicious. When refreshments came to match, it was absolutely perfect. There are also oranges 🍊 Kiwifruit 🥝 Chestnut 🌰, in short, unexpectedly, when I left, I bought a few pounds of ginkgo fruit and mailed it directly. ❹ Food: The boss's brother is making a restaurant (farmhouse) next door. You can order food directly. The boss will bring it to the room to eat. After eating, they will clean up. It is particularly convenient. The important thing is that the food is not bad, delicious, affordable, and normal. You can rest assured. The second is that the room is breakfast-included. The boss will say hello the day before when we go out, eat early, and prepare in advance. Breakfast is also delicious, milk, steamed buns, roast wheat, chaos or bait silk, corn, eggs, very full. ❺ The only thing is that the first floor is a little tide, but not wet, a little colder than the second floor, and it is recommended to choose a room on the second floor. But air conditioning, electric heating, electric blankets are all available, electric heating is on behind, and tea is made next to the tea table. It is very pleasant and hot. ❻ Finally: Thank you for meeting, the boss is very good, the service is thoughtful, and I am willing to live here next time.

We took our kids there and stayed in the warm rooms of the inn. It was a great experience, with a large terrace where we could relax, drink tea, and chat. The room was clean and the mattress was soft and comfortable. The view from the window was also beautiful. You could see the picturesque scenery while lying in bed. Just look out the window and you'll know the autumn season!
