Great value for money. Checked in but due to staff shortages the check in manager was running between the pub and the separate hotel building-so a very short wait. The staff were brilliant throughout our 2 day stay and managed to book us in for dinner last minute as had no reservation and was busy.
The room was clean, warm and the bed was comfy. The bathroom was good. But what I would say is for the room we stayed in (room 202) is that the hotel send a plumber out to tighten the pipe gland, as when operating the shower there were a few leaks that sent a very small couple of streams of water over the shower curtain and all over the floor-didn’t realise until getting out. Other than that-would recommend and would defo stay again. Thank you.

What a great place to visit. Room spacious and very clean. Staff friendly and accommodating. Food was lovely and a big thank you for accommodating the extended family for breakfast to finish off our family reunion. A lovely memory and we will be back again later in the year when visiting my elderly parents. A very big thank you 😃

A little remote, but in a nice environment.
Nice and cosy, and run by a old couple.
The only drawback for an overall top marks is because of the shower, although it is newly installed, it is difficult to operate and the water pressure is somewhat too low to have a nice shower. The worst part is the wall inside the shower cubicle is dirty but consider the old couple are working hard to run the hotel and also the nice letters restaurants, so it is not a complaint, just would like to point it out for improvement in the future.

First time staying in this hotel group. Room similar to a travel lodge or premier inn.
My room was ok but needed attention to detail to address some issues such as toilet roll holder missing but a hole on wall where is used to be, shower gel dispenser broken off wall, towel rail above bath hanging odd work.
Also the bar (separate to accommodation block) shuts early at night at approx 1030pm.
Breakfast was good except for no flora or non diary option for butter. Order due on the next day. I am intolerant to dairy.
Would stay again without hesitation based on what we got for what we paid. Many thanks.
