Staying at the Simorgh Hotel, a name rich with historical significance, is usually a delightful experience, but unfortunately, my last four-day visit was nothing short of a fiasco. Despite being housed in the Royal Suite - the highest level of luxury that the hotel purports to offer, my stay was marred by a series of disappointments that began as soon as I attempted to bathe. The primary issue was the hotel's glaring plumbing problem. Upon settling into my suite and attempting to freshen up, I was greeted by a painfully low water pressure. Despite the size and grandeur of the suite, it took an astounding 40 minutes to complete what should have been a quick and invigorating shower. The frustrating experience cast a significant amount of doubt over my own personal hygiene, to the point where I found myself scouring Google for nearby public bathhouses. Moreover, the pictures shared by the hotel did a poor job representing the reality of my accommodation. There was a clear discrepancy between the plush, enticing photos I was presented with prior to my arrival and the actual condition of the suite, which was spacious and comfortable but not quite the luxurious spectacle I was promised. Compounding my initial dismay, the breakfast options were severely lacking in variety and quality. The options were limited and far from the diverse and appetizing spread a hotel of Simorgh's reputation ought to provide. Further disappointment awaited me in the form of a cramped, underwhelming bathroom. The size was completely inappropriate for a suite of such caliber, with hardly enough room to move around comfortably. In addition, the air conditioning unit installed in the suite was excessively noisy, to the point where it significantly disrupted my sleep. After having lodged several complaints about these issues, I was relocated to another suite, a process which necessitated packing and moving my belongings at an inconvenient hour of 1 a.m. The new suite was similarly spacious, but disappointingly, it came with its own set of problems - the water pressure was still pitifully low, and there was a complete absence of hot water. The noisy air conditioning persisted, making for another night of disrupted sleep. Upon expressing my dissatisfaction to the front desk, I was met with an irritable and loud response from the receptionist, who sharply informed me that all rooms had similar issues and that the water situation would be rectified in about three hours. The sheer rudeness displayed was wholly unbecoming of a staff member at a reputed hotel like Simorgh. My experience at the Simorgh Hotel was an unfortunate array of disappointments. What should have been a luxurious stay in the best suite available turned into a series of hassles that no guest should have to endure. With a heavy heart, I am packing my belongings to move to Espinas Palace Hotel for the remainder of my stay in Tehran, in the hopes of finding the quality of service that was sorely lacking at the Simorgh

A very good hotel, with large rooms and breakfast, right in the city center where you have access to many shops. Very friendly staff. The silence has been preserved, which matters a lot when you come on a holiday. The internet worked well in this hotel. When I have another opportunity to visit Tehran, I will choose this hotel. The first night I arrived, the central air conditioner in the house on the right after the elevator came out had enough hot air, but the house on the left where I lived did not have hot air, and there was no hot water for bathing. The problem was resolved the next morning. The breakfast is not rich, but the price of this hotel is very cheap, and the breakfast is already good. There is no bread, only pancakes. The pancakes are very hard and chewy and cannot be chewed directly. The most delicious thing is to spread the Iranian breakfast special dish tomato scrambled egg paste thickly on top of the chewy hard pancakes, and the pancakes become soft and easy to bite. Yes, it’s delicious.

This is the fourth or fifth time that I have come to this hotel with my wife and now I am staying there for five days. It has been one of the best hotels that I have stayed in so far, a clean hotel with good access in the center of Tehran and with polite and conscientious staff and with very good management and sensitive to cleanliness and satisfaction of passengers. Apart from this hotel, I have stayed in hotels of a higher grade, but in my opinion, none of them have the peace, cleanliness, and sense of satisfaction of this hotel, as well as the other branch of this hotel, the Eskan Hotel on Alvand Street, that's why this hotel is always my first choice. It has been an accommodation. I recommend it to other friends
Mina Hotel is close to Karimkhan Street, Haft-e-Tir Square, as well as Taleqani and Enqelab streets.
HHaruki Ishikawa2023.08.29
The people at the hotel are all friendly and kind, and I think it's a very good hotel that willingly accepted my sudden request to extend my stay!
The restaurant inside was also very cheap, at 100 to 150 toman for golme sabzi, geime, morgue and kebab.
The location is sandwiched between two subway stations, Talegani Station and Darvase Dourat Station, so I didn't feel any inconvenience in terms of transportation.
The hotel is situated in the centre of the capital, close to the business centre of the city, government offices, banks, hospitals, and many of the foreign embassies to Iran, as well as within walking distance of Tehran’s Grand Bazaar and the Golestan Palace. It is ideally located near both a Metro station and a BRT bus line which provides easy access to the other historical and cultural highlights of Tehran, including the Treasury of National Jewels, the National Museum of Iran, Tabi’at Bridge, the Museum of Glass, Niavaran Palace Complex and Sa’dabad Palace. Whatever questions you may have, our staff are here to provide all the information you need to ensure you have an enjoyable and memorable time in Tehran.

I travelled solo to Iran in May 2023 and it was my first time in this region. I arrived in Tehran in the early hours and when I arrive at Tehran Heritage Hostel, I was fatigued and flustered. I met Mr. Nima who was the staff on duty and he was very perceptive and offered me a towel to freshen up and to rest in the lounge area until the check in time at 2pm. Knowing that I was travelling solo, Mr. Nima was also very hospitable and offered to bring me on a city walkabout after his shift ended. It was refreshing, especially having a local explaining the city and culture of Tehran. Furthermore, the staff at the hostel are really helpful and provide non-biased advice e.g. currency exchange, booking of tickets, places of attractions. That said, the prices and the quality of the dorms and individual rooms are clean, and the toilets/showers have good water pressure. Definitely a recommended place to stay if you're in Tehran!

Outstanding
GGuest UserThe hotel taxi is more expensive than the outside taxi, the hotel pool is only for men and it is very strange!!!! The room was for smokers and the air conditioner didn't stink and smelled great after a day! When I checked out, I had to carry my luggage to the door, and even though I had tipped everyone well, no escort was done and I carried all the luggage by myself. One of the passengers helped me take me down the stairs! They didn't even say goodbye and it wasn't respectful at all, I won't go back to the hotel!
GGuest UserWe stayed two nights, very good breakfast, nice rooms and friendly staff. During our stay we made good memories, the wifi worked well, the room was also clean, the hotel was in the downtown, at the end we enjoyed.
RRezaK202I stayed in this hotel from 25th October to 11th November and had a very good experience. The management of this hotel is first class, everything ran perfectly because of the manager here. Everything was in its place and every member of staff knew exactly what they should be doing and I believe that is because of the excellent management. The rooms were very clean and the food served here is absolutely excellent. The one, very small, complaint I have is that they are very anxious to get their money. I am used to settling the bill at the end of my stay at other hotels but this hotel really didn’t like it and I had to keep paying every 3 days. They also didn’t like cash and wanted everything by card. However they did make an exception for me as I do not have a card that I am able to pay with. I was a manager before I retired and I am able to differentiate between good and bad management and it is my belief that the manager here is the hotels greatest asset. All in all I had a wonderful stay and I look forward to staying here again in the future.
GGuest UserFacilities: Complete. There are three restaurants, large and small, in the hotel. You can eat the most delicious steaks in Yilang. The refreshments are also very beautiful, but they are too sweet. The most important thing is that the walk from the hotel to the airport takes no more than 7 minutes, and the hotel also has a special bus that leaves every 20 minutes. A must-choice hotel when flying.
GGuest UserIt's the 3rd time I have stayed in the Remis airport hotel. Last time my room was close to the elevators and very noisy but this time at the end of the corridor and was perfect. The room was cold but very soon it had gotten warm. Everything was so clean and I had a very good rest. Also my company had booked the hotel for a short time staying (up to 10 hours) which when I asked for 2 hours more the reception guy who was very helpful (mr.Haghighi) accepted and I'm very thankful. I have added breakfast to my room because the reservation of a short time staying is not including breakfast. Also the breakfast was so good to prepare yourself for a long and good day. The room is not including carpet and no minibar. You will have a good rest before/after your flight at this hotel.
HHaruki IshikawaAlthough the accommodation fee was cheap, the room was clean, and at around 9 o'clock in the morning, the hotel staff came to change the amenities.
I ate kubide kebab at 150 toman at the hotel in the restaurant! It was cheap and delicious!
I think it's a great hotel for a solo traveler!
The nearest station is far away on foot, so I think it would be better to use an app such as snapp when traveling from here.
GGuest UserThe hotel booked because it could be bought for ruble on a Russian card. The hotel in the center, from the metro 10 minutes walk. Minuses: a terrible smoker room, although I booked non-smoking. On the respiratory, they said all the rooms are smoking. For us it is a horror - we do not carry the smell of the smoke. WiFi earned not immediately, but after several trips to the receptacle. One passport number 1 Login, so it is impossible to log in with two deviations. Plus: The bathroom has a new tile and plate probably recently had repairs. Good diverse breakfast but no juice (water syrups were) and coffee from car 3 in 1. The room has a refrigerator and a teapot, lots of rosetates. The rooms have a good soundproofing. In general, in the hotel on 2-3 night you can stop.
GGuest User#positive #I was happy with the Hotel Smell, Natural Light in the Room, Soundproofing, Mosquito Control Measures, Bed Comfort Level, Convenience of Transport; The boss and the staff are very friendly, the service attitude is very good, and they all speak English. The location in the city center is very convenient
ZZHIYONGThe hotel is not far from Meh Zayed Airport, the rooms are relatively new, the corridors are very wide, and the room size is large. The breakfast was good, fresh and varied, with few Iranian food additives, and mostly natural ingredients. Hotel staff are well trained and good service
