Hotels with Swimming Pools in Taupo

The hotel is not near the town center. not much facilities provided . it will be little difficult for old folks since there is no elevator provided. we have to carry three big luggage big to second floor.

Good location, very clean and spacious rooms. Have stayed before in room with partial view so this time paid for the front room with premium view. Unfortunately there was a circus right over the road that blocked pretty much everything. The reception wasn't really interested which was a shame, personally if I owned it I would have at least refunded back to the partial view rate. Not an option with this guy though so won't stay there again Photos from both upstairs and downstairs

We stayed in two units for 3 nights for a birthday celebration. The rooms were lovely, spotlessly clean with comfortable beds. The service was fantastic our every need was met with warm friendly, efficient service. Highlight was the pool and its Cabana which we made good use of. There were 6 of us so it was fantastic to share drinks and a takeaway meal in the Cabana. Thank you so much for helping to make our weekend so special. Highly recommended!

We were pleasantly surprised by our 2 bedroom unit. Super roomy, 2 huge bedrooms, separate toilet and bathroom. TV had access to login to our Netflix and Neon accounts. Heated pool was a treat and they provided pool towels for us. The spa was a bit dirty and the water wasn't very clear but we still used it and showered afterwards. Great location, and really good for the price, especially when we compared it to the motel we went to in Rotorua which was $50 more a night and nowhere near as nice

Every time I pass by, I will choose this hotel to stay. It is very convenient to travel. The fast food bar around is very convenient. The hotel facilities are a little bit old. It is best to choose the lake view room. The garden room selected this time. The shower system is very bad. The water pressure in the bath is very small, but fortunately the environment is beautiful. Also, overall can still be recommended

Clean and nice!

The hotel is very new, the facilities are very complete, the kitchen is laundry and dry, the bed is very comfortable. The front desk got off work very early, but Ctrip’s order had a problem, and the hotel staff had been helping to coordinate the stay and praised one. It is necessary to criticize the background efficiency of Ctrip, and the hotel will only receive confirmation after a few hours of ordering. There are a lot of accommodation options in Taupo, but this one can still come next time and see many foreigners also live here.

Enjoyed the quietness and cleanliness of the environment, rooms were spacious, easy access to pool/spa, town and lake. We personally wouldn’t stay again. Found both beds and pull out couch beds uncomfortable glad to be home in my own bed as we all had little to no sleep. Didn’t have enough sheets and towels and no disability parks made things difficult not just for us but the disabled man in next room who we heard complaining to his wife about it. Master bed sat right under windows/curtains so sun woke me up at 5 and was a draft on my head. Wasnt horrible but wasn’t our cup of tea.

Initially looking at the photos of the place, the rooms and motel look recently renovated, and seemed well worth the cost. However, upon arriving, 1st impressions were, ”this isnt what the photos show”; ”little bit of false advertising going on here”. However, not one to judge a book by its cover and to give everything a chance, the hope was that the room would be as good as the website showed and stated. Well, long story short, it wasn't. Not just the motel but the room itself. The motel looks dated and very cheaply built. Even the workmen ship looks cheap too, including the products used. The paint, the carpet on the stairs and patio, hell, even the card readers on the doors; it all looks like it was brought at the $2 shop. Then the room itself. Um, put it this way, the floor tiles on the kitchen and bathroom floors and the tv were the only new/recent things in the entire room. Only mentioning 3 things: 1: a massive Bench oven,that belongs in the 70's, instead of a microwave, which is found in any other motel. 2: the so called ”2 in 1 shampoo/ body wash”. Ya felt more dirtier/grubbier after using that, compared to before hopping in. WAY Better off buying/providing both your own, AND ACTUAL, shampoo and soap. 3: unless you're wearing very dark sunglasses, dont bother turning on the light in the shape of a balloon/lantern. Its brighter than the brightness of burning magnesium. ( plus: - the bed was very hard, - no sky tv + not all freeview channels work either, - the a.c unit is in the wrong place; pointless only cooling/heating a smidge of the room, instead of the whole room, - only one power socket on one side of the bed; no option of extension lead either, - buy own milk, unless you feel like using 6 sample sized tubs for your coffee. - hope everyone parks straight and proper in car parks, otherwise, good luck; it's not the best. In a nutshell, if your happy to stay and pay at a motel that is not only falsely advertised and way over priced, but was designed and built for extremely cheap, including the ”Far East” interior design, and b.y.o is better than what's provided, then by all means, stay here. Oh, and the lake is best viewed from the downstairs, outside and uncovered deck. Lovely views of the road from your room. #wontstayhereagain #disappointed #wasteofmoney #rattenshizer
