Fleets of mosquito!! We open the window as it was stuffy when we entered the room. Then, we were in shock when we saw infestation of these insects crowdee round the ceiling lights. Fortunately, the room aircon is cold and thus resulting them to be lethargic. And we went around the room and smashed each.

The hotel is located right by the lake, with convenient dining options nearby, and major tourist attractions are also close by. Apart from not providing slippers, there were no other issues. Overall, it was a pleasant travel and accommodation experience.

I was misled by the reviews. The location was okay, but the worst part was the service. They treated people differently based on their social status, dividing everyone into different tiers. Their attitude towards us was extremely rude; they were all two-faced. I'm too lazy to say more. Anyone traveling with family should definitely avoid this place. When you're out and about, always prioritize your safety.

Unexpectedly, this was the most satisfying motel of our two-week North Island trip. Initially, we changed our itinerary, resulting in two separate bookings for three nights in different room types. The friendly white lady at the front desk upgraded our room so we didn't have to change rooms for three nights. The motel had a first-row lake view, a central location, and was only a 2-minute walk from the airport and McDonald's. It was well-equipped with an oven, exhaust fan, tableware… everything was clean and tidy. Finally, the owners also helped us resolve a small issue we had while grilling steak. We were extremely satisfied and highly recommend it to everyone.
