Hilton Lake Taupo

This hotel is located near Lake Taupo, offering distant views of the lake. It's also conveniently close to the famous 'plane' McDonald's in town. It's a resort-style hotel with both paid and free parking areas. The single beds, at 0.9 meters wide, are a bit small, but the room itself is quite spacious. I was particularly pleased with the bathroom, which had two sinks, a bathtub, and a shower. The breakfast was plentiful and delicious. The maple leaves outside the hotel were beautiful, and I even saw a rainbow 🌈.

The room was spacious and had a balcony with a view of Lake Taupo. It was very clean, and housekeeping did an excellent job. There's a large parking lot below the hotel, making parking convenient. The path from the parking lot to the hotel is also well-lit. However, some rooms were undergoing renovations, and it was quite noisy in the mornings. This could be disruptive if you're looking for a relaxing vacation. Taupo is located in an earthquake zone, and we experienced a small tremor during our stay. It wasn't major, but it was a bit startling. It's good to be aware of this if you're planning a trip to Taupo; apparently, small earthquakes happen several times a year and are quite normal.

The room was clean, tidy, spacious, and bright! The hotel facilities are great, and the service is excellent. The directions were clear, and the environment was beautiful. The outdoor swimming pool was fantastic! I'll definitely be back.

This hotel is absolutely fantastic! We chose their best room this time, and it was incredibly spacious with amazing views. The parking lot is also huge. We stayed for four nights and three days, and we'll definitely be choosing this place again on our next visit!

This hotel's hygiene was an absolute disaster. The countertops were covered in dust, and there was hair on the bed. It's tough to find a good hotel in this area, but honestly, this place was a huge disappointment. We only chose it because our itinerary required us to stay nearby and the surrounding scenery was nice. I'd highly recommend being cautious when choosing this hotel, and if you have to stay here, prepare yourself mentally.
