ABI Hotel

The sheets and duvet covers felt like they had been used before I even checked in; they weren't clean at all. The hairdryer in the bathroom looked so old and unsafe, like it could catch fire. Breakfast was really bad, and the room was tiny with a terrible smell.

The room exceeded my expectations, and the breakfast spread was fantastic, with everything tasting fresh. But the best part was the hotel staff! They were incredibly helpful with everything, from printing documents to answering any questions I had, and their attitude was absolutely superb. The hotel's location is also excellent. I'm very satisfied! 👍🏽

Okay, pretty good. There's even a gym. It's a bit small, but better than nothing.

The room is quite spacious with two large beds. Amenities: Breakfast is provided. If the owner, Brother Jia, hasn't had too much to drink the night before, he'll personally make a Chinese breakfast, which could be noodles, congee, or stir-fried dishes – it varies. Make sure not to go later than 8 AM, or it'll all be gone, and you'll only have Western breakfast left. Cleanliness: It's quite clean. Environment: There's a small river right downstairs, lined with lush green trees. It really captures the beauty of a southern Chinese city! Service: The front desk staff speaks Chinese, and there's a dedicated girl who acts as a translator, so it's a very friendly place. If you're lucky enough to be outgoing, you might try to get some tips from Brother Jia, the owner. He's very generous and straightforward, and you could have many unexpected gains! Plus, they offer airport pick-up service, which is incredibly convenient!

I booked a comfort room with one queen-size bed for 2 nights. However, I was checked into a room with two single beds next to the elevator, and they claimed there were no comfort rooms available. I asked to switch rooms to avoid the elevator noise, and they moved me. In the new room, the window facing the street wouldn't close. I stayed there for one night. The next day, I was moved to a room with a queen-size bed – it seemed like hotel staff had been staying in it, as someone opened the door with a key card during the night. Breakfast was below average.
