Not real 4 stars. Italy laws allow hotels to get the fourth star provided that have a swimming pool. To be honest, this is scarcely a 3 star hotel, but with a swimming pool. But having a (even beautiful) pool is not enough to being a real 4 stars. The staff work quite a bit, even 14 hours daily: this is honorable. They're even polite, but nobody appears to have a real 4 star training. The staff haven't a real hospitality culture. If there was, nobody has seen. Many of them have other jobs, but in summer work here. It's not enough to be not rude. At the Reception, Mr Fabio pretends to smile, but at every little not ordinary request, his brain melt down. Time ends and he looks at you like an alien from Mars. Maybe he's thinking about deep-rooted mathematical problems, cosmological problems. Or probably his business. Ninety per cent his answer is... no, it's not possible! The Restaurant Nonno Fredy Bistrot is not costly, but the food is shoddy. The Menu chart is grease and dirt. Almost every plates are pre-cooked and served with a microwave passing. Only a few are fresh or brisk, but you have to be lucky to guess them. Good wine menu. The waiters are always kind and smiling, but slack and slow. It’s typical of some Italians to imagine replacing friendliness with competence. Breakfasts are plenty, but if some food is over (eggs or juice) they need one or two days to replace it. A real 4 star restaurant sort goods several days before: they don't wait food is over to arrange it. Above all, in summer. The rooms are pretty and large, the beds are cozy, but have third world toilets. Even on the ground floor, close to the Reception. Shower are rusty and towels are very threadbare. We've never seen a 4 stars like that. Our vacation was average. Keep track: Mrs Valentina. She's very helpful: every question will have an effective answer. Every issue will be solved. Actually she's the only one with a hospitality training: so she's true operative employee and everything is on her shoulders. Is worthy, but not enough. We don't know if we come back. Probably not. In summary, prices are of a 4 star hotel, but services absolutely not. Not recommended.

The hotel is very large and well equipped. Beach with dark sand. Great swimming pool because, unfortunately, it is very difficult to swim in the sea because of the strong currents and holes. The sea level is immediately high. The bungalow was clean and with a wide covered veranda where you can eat and relax. The market is well provided. In the neighbouring camps are farms where you can buy just harvested fruit and vegetables. A zone of melons, anguries and tomatoes. Fantastic! The negative note is the neighbouring roads that lead to the nearby weights that are full of hulls and hulls caused by the roots of trees ...You need to be careful not to break the machine. Very dangerous in bikes and/or motorbike. It was time they had made them up. It was a great location to take a trip to Rome by train!

Because our flight could not catch up with the departure time of the cruise ship that day, we had to arrive at the port one day in advance. It turned out that choosing this hotel was a very correct decision. She is located right next to the ferry bus stop, making it very easy to push your luggage to the bus. Arriving at the port a day early also provided us with the opportunity to take a relaxing half-day tour in the local area. Although the hotel itself is a bit old, it is very clean and the hotel staff are very friendly and will take the initiative to help with luggage. The overall experience is very good.

Beautiful hotel. The staff were friendly and endlessly helpful. Clean and well air conditiined rooms. We Aye at the hotel restaurant. It was a simple and well prepared menu with something for everyone and a well stocked bar. Possibly the best hotel restaurant I have eaten in. Hotel is located very close to lots of shopping in the city! That's all I needed. 😉

Since the covid is in this structure there is no one on the ground. All instructions on how to access are provided via whatsapp. The advantage of being completely autonomous is that it may be problematic if there is a problem, and the position is very comfortable in the ztl, but carefully not to enter the car at times when the ztl is active. The owner sends all details before arrival. If you don't want to pay for the nearest parking, you can take 500m and leave the car to the parking between Falgari and Via Sacconi. The room is clean and comfortable, so it's a pity that two electrical switches were not working. The biggest problem is that we booked on shipping the room with breakfast included, at the arrival there was a poster indicating that breakfast is not included, cause covid the use of the kitchen is exclusive for another room. We have reported this to the owner who admitted the error, who did not update the mode on shipment (even today after a month it has not changed), giving us permission to access the kitchen but asking us to take breakfast in the room. At least we have made breakfast, though rather uncomfortable to take everyone from the kitchen to the room and consume on a small desk with one chair.
