It is a unit in a 3-star hotel complex. There is no pool at Villa Bianca, which is actually called Pequeno Príncipe. I was in the best room (911) and the heated towel rail was turned off. The light board was exposed behind the curtain and there was an “X”, indicating that it was not to be turned on. Fortunately, all I had to do was move the switch and it was heating up in no time. The air conditioning was silent, with an inverter motor. The glass doors also acoustically isolated the sound of the sea and the street and I had no problem sleeping. In short, the only problem is the rude reception staff, the change of bed linen only after the 4th day of stay and the inconsistent water in the shower at times when everyone is bathing. My highlights are: located! You are literally close to everything and staying at the hotel will not be the best thing to do. Isolala Bella is just a few steps away and it's free! ATM in front, where you can also buy tickets to go up and down the cable car and go to the old theater, etc. Tips: Don't waste time with the staff, they will start speaking in Italian as if it is intimidating and not to solve anything, as they are lazy and expect you to guess their thoughts. Get ready for the receptionist's mocking facial expressions and take advantage of the terrace to sunbathe and contemplate.

Traditional hotel nominally 4*. Small room with sea view with a beautiful terrace. The breakfast is left to be eaten, hot drinks with vending machine, but the dining room staff is unfriendly and rude

4* on paper, but worth less. Unfriendly staff. They took the liberty of scolding me because I showed up in the breakfast room twice because I was craving a hot chocolate. Depressing

Hotel villa bianca resort is a hotel for everyone, families, friends, couples, which does not focus on quality, aesthetics, but on essential functions. I have also stayed at this hotel in the past and found it to be perfect for my needs. I think the position is among the most strategic ever in Taormina, for those who want to quickly reach Isola Bella or simply go to the beach. There is the funicular right outside the hotel, as well as the bus stops (we are almost inside the hotel, to make you understand how close they are)
The rooms are furnished as they were 30 years ago, they are minimal, far from perfect, there is wear and tear but these defects leave the time they find. For me the rooms are comfortable just right. Very efficient and silent air conditioning system (which should not be underestimated for a dated structure).
Apart from this, I love the familiarity of this hotel, the simplicity of the people who work there, the excellent bar that also becomes a restaurant.
The breakfast is not like in higher level hotels but there is everything you need to satisfy Italians and foreigners. Every now and then there are some gems among the desserts, such as mini babas of absurd goodness. Croissants always warm and these are also of superior goodness.
Would I choose this hotel again? Yes, without a doubt, for the good value for money and for all that I have described above.

Nice hotel, placed opposite to the beach and near to the cable - the shortest way to the old town. Kind staff, clean rooms, beautiful view from the restaurant and the terrace

This hotel was supposed to be a four ****, it was anything but, the only two good things I can see about it was the shower and the breakfast. the bed was horrible the pillars were flat and unusable, they did not provide any tea or coffee facilities in the room, they charged four euros each per day for tourist tax which is a rip off, the evening meal was not a a buffet it was a set menu, that to be fair was not brilliant, especially if they only had a couple of staff on and it was busy then you were waiting a long time for your next course, they didn't even provide a drink with the evening meal, you were obliged to pay for the drink, as they wouldn't even let you bring a drink in with you. the aircon if you wanted it was not available as it was switched off September 30th, the staff in reception weren't helpful if you really had a difficult situation like transport to places, the rooms weren't that clean you could see dust in various places, The walls were crumbling and you could see damp in them

Room is lovely no faults with that but multiple flights of stairs from one holding to the next to get to the reception / breakfast and Main Street? Absolutely not. If you want to go down the beach it’s another few flights aswell. When we asked to switch rooms to one in the main building with fewer steps they said they were fully booked. Feel as though our holiday has been ruined. We wanted to explore but doing them stairs every time we want to come back up to the room… exploring isn’t happening apparently. Ridiculous. Would not come to this hotel again, but would definitely come to this location.

This was my second visit to this hotel the last being 2022 All I can is what a difference in two years the hotel was just the same but most of the staff had changed and not for the better although a few of the staff were nice and friendly rather more were either indifferent to you are just rude the bar staff especially I only drank in the bar twice as they are so bad. I enquired about a bus to Messina and was told that I could only get one at the bus station in Taormina only to find that the bus stopped outside the hotel. Which I asked reception about it he only shrugged his shoulders and laughed. The food in the restaurant was really poor with little choice some portions of pastas were enormous yet other portions off food were quit small. All in all not the best hotel but I suppose you get what you pay for

I loved this place, authentic, unpretentious and local, great service, it was so good I chiose to eat here twice in 4 days and believe me there is a lot of choice if you go up the hill to Taormina Town. Based in the Gondola carpark, we stumbled on this place on our first night as we didnt want to travel up in to town. What a find, great wine and good local food at reasonable prices. Highly recommended

Nice basic old fashioned hotel but it was lovely. What makes this hotel is the staff - very friendly and service was great. Room was basic but clean and comfortable with great maid service. Great location at the bottom of the cable lift up to the centre of Taormina and nice beach. Breakfast good as was the restaurant. Would be more than happy to stay at this hotel again as very reasonably priced.
