InterContinental Tangshan ★★★★★
"Everything else about the hotel was great, except for the service. We arrived at the hotel around 9 AM, and there were no clean rooms available. So, we stored our luggage with the concierge and left. We returned to the hotel around 11 AM, and our room was ready. Shortly after we entered the room, an intern from the concierge department knocked on our door to deliver a box of chestnuts. Then, about 20-30 minutes later, just as I had laid down and fallen asleep, another staff member with a pen and notebook knocked on my door to ask if I was satisfied with the room. I politely replied that everything was good, and they left. Since we were going out again in the afternoon, I immediately put on the 'Do Not Disturb' sign. However, the front desk then called me, saying they saw I had put up the 'Do Not Disturb' sign and asked when they could deliver the fruit. I had already put up the 'Do Not Disturb' sign, and another staff member had just left three or four minutes earlier. Why couldn't they have done everything at once? I really don't understand!!!!"
Grand Metropark Guofeng Hotel, Tangshan ★★★★★
"This hotel is right next to Hetou Old Street, and the parking lot is huge, so it's highly recommended if you're driving. The hotel service is excellent and very welcoming, with free tea and snacks available in the lobby. They offer a shuttle service to the Old Street, but it's only about a ten-minute walk anyway. The breakfast spread is also super rich. I only stayed one night this time and didn't get to see the deer, but I'll definitely stay here again next time I visit the Old Street."
Shangri-La Tangshan ★★★★★
"The hotel's location is excellent, with a great surrounding environment, convenient and fast transportation, and a rich variety of dining and entertainment options, which is very convenient. The room facilities are complete and comfortable, bright and pleasant. The staff are warm, attentive, and highly professional, perfectly matching the style of a hotel of this caliber. It was a wonderful stay, highly recommended!"
Maison New Century Hotel Lubei Tangshan ★★★★
"The hotel boasts a superb location, offering convenient access to all the city's major attractions. Its facilities are comprehensive, and the fine quality bedding ensures a truly comfortable night's sleep. The bathrooms have ample hot water and excellent drainage. The Chinese restaurant offers a unique selection of vegetarian dishes, and breakfast is wonderfully rich and varied. The warm and attentive service from the front desk staff made our stay truly satisfying – it's definitely a hotel worth returning to! For anyone visiting Beijing, especially friends coming for a weekend, staying here from Friday evening to Sunday evening is an excellent choice, as there are so many sights and activities to enjoy."
HanTing Hotel (Tangshan Hetou Old Street Yunhe West Road) ★★★
"The hotel's location is excellent, right next to Hetou Old Street. It seems to be a new establishment, as the decor is very fresh, yet there's no lingering 'new renovation' smell at all. The bedding is super comfortable, and they even provide two types of pillows. The service upon arrival was great too; they upgraded our room type without us even asking. There's also a rest area inside with complimentary snacks and drinks. Overall, I'm very satisfied!"
Tang Xiao-Zhu · Tangshan Feast Cultural and Tourism Hotel ★★★★
"The room was very clean and thoughtfully decorated. They provided complimentary fruit, drinks, and a Tang Xiaozhu canvas bag with local cultural designs. We also got to skip the line at Tangshan Banquet and received free tickets for Hetou Old Street and the Tang King's Eastern Expedition performance."
Holiday Inn Express TANGSHAN DOWNTOWN by IHG ★★★
"The room was way too small, not at all what you'd expect from a Holiday Inn – seriously, what were they thinking?! I just ordered takeout, so I'm chilling. You won't be able to reach me, I won't be picking up my phone, so don't even bother calling."
Youyou E-Sports Hotel (Tangshan Wanda Plaza) ★★
Tangshan Manhattan Hotel ★★★★★
"⛰️Tangshan: One of the best cities in Hebei Province, with a very high GDP, which can be seen from the city construction, clean and tidy, and good greening. 📌Hotel location: downtown area, the buildings next to it look good. We were in a hurry to spend the night and didn't have a chance to go around. It should be convenient to go anywhere. The hotel has a parking lot, which is very convenient for self-driving. 🍚Breakfast: The breakfast is very good, with rich choices. There is a stall that cooks fresh flour, and there are both Chinese and Western styles in the self-service area."

Tangshan Caofeidian Metropark Hotel
"This trip was a perfect 10! The hotel environment was clean and tidy, the staff were warm and friendly, and the service was thoughtful and attentive. The food ingredients were fresh and the taste was outstanding, offering great value for money. The hotel is close to the sea, allowing for beachcombing and sand play in the morning, and swimming and fishing in the afternoon. It was convenient and relaxing to get around, making the whole trip comfortable and pleasant. Highly recommended!"
GYA Hotel (Tangshan Caofeidian Industrial Zone)
"It's pretty good, but it's next to the vegetable market. I was woken up in the morning by the rumbling noise, just like Chinese New Year"
Long Island Tourism and Vacation Hotel
"Before going, I read a lot of travel guides and was mentally prepared that "the food on the island won't be very good." Even so, I still can't help but complain about the breakfast—compared to the room rate, it was really cheap and perfunctory. However, the stir-fries and grilled skewers for lunch and dinner were decent, although the prices were on the higher side. But considering it's on an island, the higher costs are understandable, and the dishes we ordered were quite tasty. As for the room. We booked a standard water villa through Ctrip, but only when we checked in did we discover that there was actually no water under the villa. To fish on the balcony, we upgraded to a one-bedroom suite at our own expense. After two days, we figured out the tide pattern: the tide recedes every morning and slowly rises again by noon, perfect for leisurely fishing on the balcony, and we even caught some small sea bass and other pleasant surprises. The accommodation was the most satisfying part of the whole trip. The suite had amenities like electric curtains, but there was no projector or TV, and no refrigerator, which was a bit of a disappointment. Regarding room service, the customer service added us on WeChat upon check-in, and their response time was quite satisfactory when we messaged or called. However, one thing that was a bit uncomfortable was that we stayed for two consecutive nights, spending the entire second day on the island. It was incredibly hot and sunny during the day, so we could only rest in our room. The room only provided two bottles of mineral water per day by default, which was far from enough for three people. We asked customer service for two more bottles, and they provided them, but any further requests would incur a charge – frankly, it wasn't just about the two bottles of water, but it felt a bit unreasonable. I think each situation needs to be analyzed individually. For example, if we checked out on the second day, they could provide a maximum of four bottles of water, since it was only for half a day, but how could four bottles be enough for the entire second day? The biggest takeaway from this trip was that Dragon Island has fewer people, which I liked, but the island's facilities weren't well-developed. Professional tasks should be handled by a professional operations team. I sincerely hope this island will continue to improve."
Cao Fei Island Hotel
"The hotel service is particularly good, because I traveled with the elderly and wanted to change the two rooms into a wooden house villa. The front desk helped adjust it for a long time. It really couldn't be opened. Later, I helped upgrade the room. From the wooden house, it is the seaside, you can catch the sea. There are a lot of cockroaches, and there are a lot of digging with your hands."
Vienna Hotel (Tangshan Fengrun Linyin Road Branch)
"Good hotel"
Nanhu International Convention and Exhibition Hotel
"This is my first time to go to Tangshan, and I chose it very close to the popular Tangshan Banquet, which is only a five-minute walk away. The first moment I opened the door, I felt that there was no peculiar smell in the room at all. I really liked it. I have stayed in some hotels and there is a bit of a damp smell when entering. This place is really great. Because I was staying with children, the lady at the front desk specially gave me a small toothbrush and small slippers, which was really considerate. There are also fresh fruits in the room for free, and mineral water is also provided. It's rich and fresh in the morning and tastes great. Tangshan is very good. Next time I come back, I will choose to stay here. By the way, there will be a lucky draw and small gifts before leaving."
One courtyard homestay
"The room was very clean and tidy, located on the ground floor but still quiet. We even received a welcome snack upon check-in. It's just over a kilometer from Hetou Old Street, making it very convenient to get around. I highly recommend this place!"
JI Hotel (Tangshan Railway Station)
"A very cost-effective hotel with good facilities, environment and services. It is not far from Nanhu and Tangshan Yan. The parking lot is relatively large, but it is shared with a dental hospital and China Unicom, so the parking spaces are not very abundant. The air conditioning in the room is not very effective. It will take some time for the temperature inside the house to drop, so it is recommended not to turn off the air conditioner if you go out to play."
Floral Hotel・Moonfill West Chamber Homestay (Riverhead Old Street, Tangshan)
"The guesthouse is conveniently located right at the south gate of Hetou Old Street Scenic Area. The price is reasonable, and the rooms are relatively new and spacious. We chose a double room with two mothers, myself, and my child, and it was very spacious with a sofa and chairs, so we didn't have to sit directly on the bed while wearing coats. The floor-to-ceiling windows offer views of the scenic area and some performances. The night view is beautiful. There's also a small tent in the room, which my child loved. Upon check-in, the air conditioning was already on, making for a great experience. There's a shop nearby that rents Hanfu (traditional Han clothing) and does makeup; the staff are very friendly. There's parking, and restaurants nearby. There are also many food stalls on the street in front at night. The breakfast was average, but it's quite good for a guesthouse. I saw the people I wanted to see, so I'm happy!"
Orange Hotel (Tangshan Wanda Plaza)
"Clean, & good location."
nihao Hotel (Tangshan Sun City Branch)
"The hotel is newly opened, but the room has no taste, it is very clean, the consultation service staff are very enthusiastic to answer, the hotel location is also good, not too far from where, taxi is very convenient, come to Tangshan to play here is still very good!"
