Uga Prāva - Tangalle

The facilities are exceptional, with stunning views, and the hotel has only 7 rooms, which creates a very calm and peaceful atmosphere that we really appreciated. What made the experience truly unforgettable, was the people. I want to give special thanks to Praveen. This young gentleman made the best cocktails we have ever tried and was always incredibly helpful and genuinely kind. Also a big thank you to Lakmal, who went the extra mile to make sure our stay was comfortable and that we had everything we needed for a true 5-star experience. I also want to thank the housekeeping team (I believe the team members I saw were Pasindu, Anushka and Gihan). The room was always in perfect condition and felt super fresh. Thank you guys! And of course thanks to the rest of the team, including Yalindee, Lasantha, and everyone else whose name I unfortunately didn’t get. The team at Uga Prava is exceptional, and so are the food and the hotel facilities. Truly a 5+++ star experience.

We have just left Uga Prava From the moment we arrived till the day we left we were looked after by beautiful people. We stayed for 6 nights our rooms were huge and spotlessly clean sheets changed every 2 days. We stayed in horizon suites. The view of the ocean dreamy The restaurant food was absolutely excellent faultless international and Sri Lankan cuisine. There are only 7 rooms so we felt it was like being in a private villa. The 41 m pool in front of the ocean was spectacular and had it to ourselves most of the time. All the staff were brilliant but Shehan was over and above fantastic he always had a smile on his face and was attentive and graceful and not intrusive he made our stay so perfect so thank you Shehan ! If your looking for a relaxed top hotel then you will not be disappointed coming here We will be back !

We spent the last few days of our Sri Lanka holiday here and it was wonderful. Relaxing environment, very attentive and friendly staff, wonderful food and an immense infinity pool. You can reach a small beach at the bottom of the garden which is very private, but not so good for swimming. Silent beach is a short scramble away, but too busy for my liking! Why worry though when the pool area is so spectacular. Only a small number of rooms so it felt as if we almost had the place to ourselves. Thoroughly recommended.

Had such an amazing experience at Uga Prava in Tangalle. The hotel has one of the most beautiful ocean views. Great staff and exceptional service. A special thank you to Shehan (our butler) for the hospitality and the rest of the team. Rooms are neat and clean and yeh food is great as well. Would love to visit again! The view is so beautiful and we didn’t want to leave the unique property!

we have had the most amazing stay at uga prava.this is a new hotel but in a short time period have made you feel so at home. the atmosphere is tremendous all the staff are so friendly. but our butler shehan was absolutely amazing. anyone staying here will not be disappointed. Raymond and Nancy.
