I stay in hotels frequently and I have status with both Hilton and Marriott but I would consider Marriott my day ones as throughout my career and travel heavy periods of my life, Marriott has been a mainstay. Based on the frequency with which I stay at hotels, as well as the understanding that staffing and supply chain shortages are making service more difficult than ever, I just had to commend this location. Though it’s an older location, the rooms are renovated, I was upgraded to a suite, the rates were phenomenal, parking was convenient, and the location could not be beat. But even better than that, every staff member, from Yuni at the front desk to the cleaning crew to the restaurant lounge staff, was genuinely friendly, welcoming, and provided memorable service. I’m adding this hotel to my list of favorites and it will be a mainstay during my frequent business trips in Tampa. Thanks again! It almost felt like pre-Covid times. #Hospitality2022

Stayed here for 3 nights during Hurricane Ian after the airport was closed and we lost our flight home. Very comfortable and quiet room with good bedding and helpful cleaning staff. Reception staff were sympathetic and helpful in getting us rooms under the circumstances even though the duty manager was uninterested in our plight. Thanks to them we had somewhere safe to shelter. A/C was set very cold throughout the hotel and we had to turn it off in our room. Bar area was fairly basic, and food seemed expensive for what it was, but staff friendly and helpful. Cant comment on other amenities as they eere all closed due to the hurricane.

I chose this Marriott because of the indoor/outdoor pool area! Perfect because it was pouring rain when I arrived and I really wanted to go swimming. The front desk was super friendly and helpful. The free shuttle was convenient and the driver was funny and talkative. I got the business concierge balcony room. Big tv and nice balcony. Used the concierge lounge for breakfast. It was convenient and the food was decent. The on-site restaurant was a little expensive and the food was just OK but the cocktails were great!My stay was perfect for a pre-cruise night. 

Fantastic hotel, I loved everything, esp the great comfortable rooms & beds. The outdoor pool is excellent, I used it 3 days during my 6 night stay. Both the morning cooked to order breakfast as well as the Manager's Evening Reception are always my favorite thing about any Embassy Suites Hotel I stay at. I will most definitely stay at this hotel anytime that I am in Tampa, whether for spring training, or a Bucs football game in the fall. All the shuttle van drivers, Mark, Reynaldo & Robert were great, driving me to anywhere within a 2 mile radius of the hotel. Also, 2 of the bartenders at the Evening Reception, Christina & Todd are very friendly & great service.

Advantages: The location of the hotel is very good, especially for those who catch early flights. The hotel is 5 minutes drive from the airport, and the airport shuttle of the hotel leaves at any time. There is a large shopping plaza within 20 minutes walking distance, which makes shopping and eating convenient Disadvantages: Hotel is poorly soundproofed! !! !! Sleeping with headphones, at 4 am, I was woken up by a guest who was catching an early flight next door. It was too scary! The breakfast room is very small, and there are no more places for the guests to sit. Fortunately, my room is on the same floor and I took it back to eat. . . The bed is so small, the double bed is actually 1.2 meters wide, and it can be considered as a widened single bed. I really can't sleep two people. This is the smallest bed of any American hotel I have ever stayed in. The bed is famous @@）
