The views are absolutely superb. Request the 6th floor facing Miyagawa river if you can. Great space and facilities for a budget hotel, where you want to spend most your time in Takayama. Staff are very helpful and even dropped us off at the train station.

I was given a room with two windows overlooking mountain range in the horizon. The hotel looks average on the exterior, but the service staff (very hospitable) and amenities (beverages, sweets and toiletries) more than make up for that. I was also allowed to check in earlier.

This is my second time staying here. Due to my mental health issues, I asked for a room that was "possible." I think the timing was good, but I'm really grateful that my request was granted. I made the mistake of realizing that I'd forgotten my bath towel after entering the large public bath, but they brought it to the dressing room and took care of me. I'm really grateful. I won't be staying anywhere else when I come to Takayama. I look forward to using your services again.

It was clean and the staff were very friendly. I checked in at 5pm, but there were so many things to see right next to the hotel that I regretted not checking in earlier. I would like to use it again.

Used for sightseeing in Takayama.
I was surprised at the price for a hot spring with free parking.
The building is a little old, but it was well-cleaned.
The location is great, with the Miyagawa morning market and old town within walking distance.
