Tabino Hotel Hida Takayama Reviews

The hotel overall is really good, with a very 'Japanese' feel. It's perfect for travelers who have a car. The only slight drawback is that the room is a bit small 😃

Room is small, typical Japan budget hotel. They only got 2 floors with no elevator, so we’re lucky that our room in first floor. Didn’t manage to try their free supper but they do have free supper. Location is not close to train station buy they have shuttle which goes from and to hotel quite often. There’s one family mart across the hotel which is quite helpful because there’s no other restaurant nearby!

The room was quite small but all the amenities is good. there's onsen (which i didnt explore) but you can basically monitor everything from the tv, to check if the laundry is currently used or if the onsen is crowded. theres free drink and food upon arrival. and the front desk can speak english 😁 anddddd theres family mart in front of the hotelllllll. with parking some more and not that far from hida town.

The hotel looks very traditional outside but it is renovated to contemporary style inside. Rooms are bit small in size but ok for a night stay. There is a convenience store just opposite which works 24 hrs. So you can get anything you need .

Staff, interior design and onsen room were exceptional. Tabino hotel is highly recommended. Will go to their other locations in the future.

The hotel is perfect if you are driving around the region. It has free parking. Location is not in the center, but just 8min away driving. They also have a shuttle that takes you there. Room is spacious (as for Japanese standards).

Staff very helpful, big car park, family mart opposite, hotspring and free drinks and snacks very worth. Half price parking discount at city if live at this hotel.

The hotel is far from central area of Takayama. If you are going for ski it’s good to stay there. No restaurants around. Staffs were so good. And rooms are also clean. If you ignore the location rests are good. You can have the welcome drink from 5 pm to 7pm. It would be good if we can have it while checking in. So we couldn’t have it. We can have complementary ramen or like. Dessert after 8 pm.

The staff is good to explain where the location is to snow wall from cable car then by bus.That was no room cleaning service and have replaced the dirty tower ruddish outside the door. Overall, it's still not bad

The hotel is good, but it might be a bit far from the city center, so having a car is a must. The service is great, and there's free parking. The staff are very helpful. In the evenings, they offer free beer, and you can also choose between free ramen or ice cream.

A little outside of central takayama, but has a shuttle to the station. Free ramen or ice cream and Welcome Drink included.

We enjoyed this hotel so much! it snot in the center but you can be there in the free bus in 10 minutes or with city bus in 15. They offer free beer, ramen, ice cream! Wasing machine and drier could be better maintained but it really worked properly. Personal is so nice with the customers.
