Fav Lux Hida Takayama

We had a fantastic stay at FAV LUX Hida Takayama with our family and honestly wished we could stay longer! The room was spacious, modern, and spotless, giving us plenty of space to relax after a day of exploring. One of the biggest highlights for our kids was the bunk bed – they absolutely loved it and were so excited to sleep there every night! It definitely made the stay extra special for them. The hotel facilities were great and everything was very well maintained. We appreciated how clean and comfortable the entire property was, and the thoughtful room layout worked perfectly for families. The staff were also wonderful – always friendly, welcoming, and helpful whenever we needed assistance. They made us feel at home from the moment we arrived and were happy to answer questions or help with recommendations. Overall, we had a really enjoyable family stay. Clean, comfortable, family-friendly, and supported by excellent service. The kids are already talking about the bunk beds and asking when we can come back! We would definitely recommend FAV LUX Hida Takayama to families visiting the area and would love to stay here again. 😊⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Very clean and big room for Japan standard. Balcony is great too. Comes with kitchen area. Amenities can be better - no facial product.

Very nice location nearby both on JR Takayama Station and Takayama Nohi Bus Center with the spacious room interior. Also close to Takayama attraction like Old town and Miyagawa Morning Market.

I chose this hotel because of its location and how nice the room looked, which turned out to exceed my expectations. I had an exceptional experience staying here. It’s less than a 5-minute walk from Takayama Station. We arrived quite early—several hours before check-in—but were able to store our luggage. The check-in process itself was smooth. The room we reserved felt more like an apartment-style hotel room. It was very spacious, with plenty of room to move around. I liked how the furniture was arranged; everything was well-maintained, clean, and tidy. The beds were large, and I especially appreciated that they provided four pillows each—I slept very comfortably. I also loved the balcony. My friend and I spent hours there, watching cars and trains come and go, as well as people walking by. The facilities and amenities were exactly as advertised in the Services & Amenities section. Out of my recent two-week trip, this accommodation was the place I enjoyed the most.

The room was very spacious, fresh, and clean. It also comes with a kitchen and access to a laundry room. We would definitely stay here again next time. Free parking is available (you can access the parking lot directly through the hotel’s back entrance instead of walking around to the front traffic light). The location is convenient, and the service is excellent.
