"After visiting the covered bridges and Jiaoyang Tulou, I decided to stay in the county town and booked this hotel. Its most distinctive feature is the abundance of cursive calligraphy artwork. The hotel environment is also excellent, next to Wenxiang Lake with beautiful night views. There's a Wenxiang Banquet restaurant and a Cantonese restaurant nearby. The front desk staff were very polite, and their Hanfu (traditional Han clothing) was quite distinctive. The room was large and artistically decorated. Initially, I was slightly disappointed that it wasn't lakeside, but the morning sunlight streaming in after opening the curtains was truly stunning. The mattress seemed to be from a good brand, with just the right firmness. One small suggestion: the area where the tea set is kept seems to be missing a small lamp."

The hotel's facilities and decor are somewhat outdated, and the rooms feel dim, especially the bathroom shower room. Overall, I was satisfied with my stay."

"This is arguably the worst resort hotel experience I've had in recent years. Their exaggerated advertising likely attracted many people because of the ranch, but the ranch was practically empty, with only two or three cows. Because of the unseen cattle pens nearby, the entire hotel reeked, especially at night; I was woken up by the stench several times. There are no activities at night, so don't bring children when it's cold. All the play equipment is outdoors in strong winds, and there's only one small indoor slide. Also, regarding the location of all hotel facilities and services, the staff won't tell you unless you ask; you have to figure it out yourself. Even the cleaning staff were clueless. Of course, what I disliked most was the service. For a hotel costing nearly 1300 yuan a night, the service was completely lacking. At breakfast, we brought over a boiled egg and two small yams. I asked the waitress for a small plastic bag to put them in for my baby (because it was still early and my baby wouldn't eat). I explained this clearly and was even allowed to put the very small amount of food we had already placed on our plates in front of her. The waitress solemnly told me that taking things out wasn't allowed. I understand the hotel's rules, but rules are rules, not people. Business was already slow, and there weren't many customers. The advertised sticky rice wasn't available. The breakfast and dinner options were extremely limited. Dinner had probably no more than ten hot dishes to choose from. They were very reluctant to take an egg home from breakfast, seeming stingy. The key point is that the room rate included breakfast for two adults and two children, but we only had one baby. Furthermore, the food was both expensive and poor quality. We couldn't order any takeout. There were no entertainment activities on the entire ranch, only paid go-karting and grass skiing. Coming all this way was really not worth it. This is the hotel I least recommend this year, without a doubt. This has lowered my positive impression of the Yiming brand as well. If they can't do it well, they might as well not do it at all."
