We, a party of 8, visited 台山, our ancestral home, over the weekend. We booked 5 rooms at 丽怡, mostly because it is new and conveniently located in the town center. Overall, we had a pleasant stay at the hotel. Hotel staff were courteous. Rooms were clean, and the beds were comfortable. I would have given a higher rating if not for the following reasons: 1) We weren't able to get a non-smoking room per our preference. The hotel only has one floor dedicated as non-smoking. The hotel did some odor removal treatment and opened the windows before we checked in but I would still prefer to stay in a non-smoking room. 2) There is a low humming noise throughout the night till around 5:30 am. Not enough to wake you if you are tired and sound asleep but it will be difficult to sleep again once you woke up during the night. All 5 rooms can hear the humming noise. Don't know if it is because there is a steel fabrication shop next to the hotel or due to hotel's own aircon compressor.

It's about half an hour's drive from Taishan city center via online taxi. There is a private pool on the room terrace for you to soak in, and there is a special public pool downstairs. Breakfast and afternoon tea are also included. The carpet in the room is very dusty and the facilities are a bit old. The scenery in the odd-numbered rooms is mediocre, while the even-numbered rooms have a wide view. The breakfast selection is rich and delicious, but the lunch selection is a bit mediocre with only packaged meals. In the evening, I went to the Chinese restaurant in the hotel to eat. The price was not expensive and the taste was good. The barbecue snack on the road from the hotel to the public pond was also very delicious and the taste was in line with my taste. There are many restaurants near the hotel to try

Facilities: Although the room is a smart home, the shower room facilities are relatively old, like renovation of an old building. The hotel building is relatively old. The fourth floor is also contracted to an outside restaurant and shares the elevator with the hotel. The elevator is not equipped to swipe the hotel card to go upstairs. Anyone can enter and exit the hotel accommodation at will. The flow of people is complicated. Service: The service is average. The front desk receptionist seems to have no training and the service attitude is lazy and unprofessional. I stayed for two nights and when I checked out, I didn't register the hotel vehicle for parking, so I had to pay for it. I had to call the front desk to deal with it later. Environment: The balcony of the room, the outdoor unit of the air conditioner is on the wall of the balcony, the sound insulation is not good, you can hear the sound of the outdoor unit of the air conditioner operating.

The hotel is great. It is tall and elegant. The bed is great. The hotel has complete functions. The price/performance ratio is very high. The facilities are very complete. I would like to praise their hair dryer which is very easy to use. I like the bathtub! It's very friendly for people like us who love taking a bath. There are also bathtubs and bath salts next to the bathtub. The balcony in the room is also OK. The network is very smooth. The bathroom is separate from the toilet. You have to live there to understand it, highly recommended.

The location and environment of the hotel are acceptable, but other management and reception are poor. I found this B&B on Ctrip. I have stayed in so many B&Bs. It is considered very good. The room is very airy and stylish. The service of the butler is also very good and helps us bring our luggage up. There is also a free big hot spring on the roof. Soaking pools, there are also private pools for a fee. Some of our family added money to make private soup with wormwood and ginger, 30 yuan / pool. I will come again next time. The children are also very happy
