Ningxia Night Market
The front desk service is friendly, the room is tidy, the air conditioning is sufficient, the location is convenient, and the room is spacious. Because I live on the second floor and there is no view, I keep the curtains closed, but the overall feeling is very satisfactory.

Songshan Airport
We stayed without expecting as price was too low, but was the best. We intended to stay overnight, but stayed overnight. I have stayed at many hotels in Taipei, but I haven't lost to a hotel more than double the price! It is a 3-minute walk from Zhongshan Kuniko MRT Station. The toilet is clean and spacious, with a TOTO washlet, bathtub, shower, and washbasin! It was a hot and humid day, but the air conditioning was working well since I entered the room. The size of the room and the breakfast are ok, but there is a bean-brush coffee and I am satisfied!

Songjiang Nanjing District
It is a hotel in a good location just two steps from Nanjing East Road in about 10 seconds walk. The front desk is on the elevator and can be manned to 6 floor and up to 15:00-18:30. Other than that, I felt that it would be difficult to use unless I was used to it because I needed to operate with an automatic check-in machine. When I went around 11:00, there was a staff member and I was saved by teaching me a lot. The elevator cannot be operated unless you type the start code on the side without starting it in normal investigations outside the management time, so you need to register the hotel LINE when staying. The room is small, but I don't think it's too much to worry about if you're traveling alone for a short period of time. Because it is a unit bus, there is no partition between the toilet bowl and the shower, so it may be better to be careful if you are concerned.

Songshan Airport
The room is very comfortable. The hotel is very close to the MRT station. There is a ”supermarket” next door. You can buy some daily necessities and cosmetics. Even if you forget to bring them, you can buy them there. There are also convenience stores nearby. There are self-service laundry machines and dryers in the hotel, which is super convenient. The breakfast is in the form of a buffet, which is very good👍

Taipei Arena
Hotel is located on a very quiet street in the heart of Taipei city. It's a bit walk to/from the nearest MRT station. But hotel itself is very contemporary overall and the room I stayed was very spacious, bright and nicely decorated. My 6th floor room comes with a huge window but since it's facing a university female students' dormitory building which was nearly completely deserted due to the ***** New Year holiday, it felt as if you're in the middle of a very quiet small village without much commercial activities and foot traffic It's a great choice if you don't need to use Taipei MRT constantly.

Taipei Railway Station
The cheapest place to live is under 2,000$. Although it is a bit far from the MRT station, it is acceptable. Although the indoor environment is simple, I like it very much, it has a decorative texture

It's a place where you can savor mouthwatering street food, explore ancient temples, and marvel at cutting-edge architecture, all in a single day.

Journeying to Taipei

Taipei is served by Taoyuan International Airport, the largest airport in Taiwan, located about 40 km from the city center. The city is also easily accessible by high-speed rail from other parts of Taiwan. In the city, the Taipei MRT (metro) provides efficient and easy transportation.

The official currency is the New Taiwan Dollar (TWD), and Mandarin Chinese is the primary language. English is taught in schools, so younger locals and those in the tourism industry generally speak it.

Most nationalities can enter Taiwan visa-free for tourism purposes for stays up to 90 days, but always check the latest visa information before your trip.

Must-Visit Attractions in Taipei

Start your Taipei adventure with a visit to the iconic Taipei 101, once the world's tallest building, offering stunning panoramic city views. Explore the historic temples of Taipei, including the beautiful Longshan Temple.

Weather & Best Time to Visit Taipei

Taipei has a humid subtropical climate, with temperatures ranging from 16°C in winter to 34°C in summer. The best times to visit are during spring (April to June) and autumn (September to November) when the weather is pleasant and rainfall is less frequent. As sudden showers are common, it's always wise to carry an umbrella.
