The location was the best thing about this hotel! The rooms were clean and good. The service was just a bit disappointing. Even before arriving, I couldn’t seem to contact anyone through email, website or social media. I had to resort to calling international to confirm airport pickup. I spoke to Claire who efficiently made it happen but no apologies for never replying to my mails, no warmth in her voice - it was a preview of service onsite. True enough, we got to the hotel - they checked us in efficiently but I do not feel welcomed. Breakfast was good except again for service. The supervisor seem to be always upset when I ask something like I asked where we can get water - with her voice raised pointed at the table and said “There!” I felt stupid for not knowing! I guess I am just not used to being treated like this in a hotel. Not sure if this is because they have difficulty in speaking English so it was hard to interact? or culture differences? Maybe I had too high expectations because of the reviews I read and everyone received amazing service. The service level is consistently cold and disappointing in the 5 days we stayed. I will not choose to stay in this hotel again.

Standard room. It’s full house so we were not able to book the room type we wanted. It’s a good experience in general. Even though many tourists visit the hotel as a sightseeing point, all staff are treating everyone with kindness. The signature point is the building itself… every corner is a photo point~ it’s interesting to learn its history as well. Must revisit and will book early to get a better room type next time .

I was looking for a hotel suite on election night in Taiwan. I called many five-star hotels and got very indifferent service. Among them, Grand Hyatt even hung up my phone (maybe accidentally). Finally, I called Yadu Lizhi, and their phone service made people feel warm and trustworthy. After entering the stay, the service from check in to room service was very satisfactory, and they took the initiative to provide more free bottled water for my three children. Although the decoration of the room and restaurant is no longer novel and a bit old-fashioned, the quality is very good, and even the softness of the pillow is satisfactory. The atmosphere of the restaurant is very good, the music is very particular, although the buffet breakfast is not much, it still makes us have a pleasant Sunday morning. The only thing that is crippling is the air conditioner. I adjusted it a few times and I still feel bored. After all, it is a bit old hotel. But because the price is reasonable, I have no complaints.

All my ********* friends told me Regent taipei hotel is the top no. 1 hotel in Taiwan. This time after I stay I totally agree with them. The hotel has many kinds of restaurants, facilitates and very up to standard service by all the staff. Reception, congeries Kevin, express hotline Alice 徐, housekeepers a lady & 黃凱彥 are all friendly, kind and cheerful. I really feel so happy for this stay. More important is this time I come here to celebrate my father 80 years birthday. He is very happy and enjoyable in particular the Sauna. All in all this stay is so memorable and really worth me to write a good review. If u ask me anything to improve I will say the lift for B3, too crowd and need to wait for so long. Anyway it won’t affect my overall review. Congratulations Regent Taipei, you really deserve top 1 in taipei.

Last minute booking made with this hotel ended up as my favourite accomodation in TW till date. Service was awesome. There was always a hotel staff opening the main door for guests to enter. Receptionist was friendly and offered a free upgrade to suite. Upgraded room was very spacious and clean. Came with Loccitane toiletries. Seems that guests are mainly Japanese. Location is quite convenient with shops nearby. A pity I got to check out before sunrise to catch an early morning flight. Would stay here again when I visit Taipei next time.

Because of visiting relatives, I returned to Taiwan at the end of November 2020, moved into Xinkai, and began to live in quarantine for 15 days for epidemic prevention. I believe that anti-epidemic hotels should provide high-quality WiFi and considerate meals to guests who cannot leave their homes. The biggest problem I encountered was that the WiFi would often disconnect for no reason, and it turned into a data plan where I paid for my phone calls. Being trapped in the room is already very helpless, and even the only communication channel to the outside world is unstable. As for the three meals a day, it is not required to include fruit, but it should not be fixed. A small box of fruit is included every Tuesday and Friday, and a box of egg fried rice is served as dinner that day. I was served like this three times. I also have friends who have experienced staying in anti-epidemic hotels. Compared with them, I paid nearly NT$40,000 for accommodation, which I feel is completely worthless.

Stayed for 4 nights. Location is convenient, just right beside Starbucks & 7-11 and few steps away from metro station. Love the self service laundry at level 2. Breakfast selection is okay but nothing impressive. Only downside is that front desk & lobby staffs should be more attentive and proactive in assisting customers who have difficulty accessing the heavy main door, especially those with big/heavy luggage and parents who ferrying young kids with stroller. There are many occasions where I find it difficult to access the main door with baby stroller and heavy luggage but no one seems ready to help. Not a single time. Not sure if this is their common SOP. Other than that, it’s all good.

But the management has taken the opportunity of having a totally captive group of customers under quarantine to engage in extremely noisy structural renovations. The drilling through concrete starts at about 8:30 a.m. and continues with only a brief lunch break until 4:00 p.m. Day after day, the noise is deafening and the vibrations can be felt across the desk. You cannot work, read, watch TV, listen to music, or nap during the entire work day. Quarantine isn't so bad but they have managed to turn the rooms into torture chambers. Do yourselves a favor and find a quarantine hotel that actually cares about their guests. Green World Linsen is part of a chain, so I suspect similar problems exist elsewhere in their chain.

We stayed without expecting as price was too low, but was the best. We intended to stay overnight, but stayed overnight. I have stayed at many hotels in Taipei, but I haven't lost to a hotel more than double the price! It is a 3-minute walk from Zhongshan Kuniko MRT Station. The toilet is clean and spacious, with a TOTO washlet, bathtub, shower, and washbasin! It was a hot and humid day, but the air conditioning was working well since I entered the room. The size of the room and the breakfast are ok, but there is a bean-brush coffee and I am satisfied!

Mountain view. The jacuzzi bathtub provided a good soak after a day of walking/shopping/feasting. The housekeeper forgot to place a new set of towels on day 2 which was an unpleasant experience.

It said, ”Toilet paper cannot be flushed,” and there was a large trash can next to the toilet. Amenity is minimal. PET bottle water and tea pack were placed as a service. In December, the air conditioner will be turned off when it is cold, and if it is still cold, they will lend you a blanket. Even if I turned off the air conditioner, it was cold. The toilet paper holder is not well installed and it is a little difficult to use, but it doesn't bother me for short stays. I stayed alone, but there was a large ２ room for people, and there were amenities ２ each. It is much larger than a small business hotel in Japan. The room cleaning is beautiful at first glance. (There was dust in the parts that were hard to reach for cleaning, and some box of garbage fell under the table next to the bed. Hair was sticking to the waterproof silicon in the bathroom.) The floor is not carpet, It was a flooring sheet. There was a full-length mirror, but it wasn't very useful because the position was bad, but it was better than nothing. The location is between Minquan West Road Station and Nakayama Kuniko Station on the Nakawa Shinro Line at the transfer station of the Tamsui Shinyi Line and the Nakawa Shinro Line of the Taipei Shotoku MRT, both of which took less than 10 minutes on foot. There are many convenience stores nearby, and the night market of the castle town behind the hotel is recommended. Especially I want to eat water dumplings again! Breakfast was simple with porridge, white rice, fried rice, soup 1 type, bread, fried *, bacon, milk, orange juice, raw vegetables, fruits, bananas and oranges. The banana was very sweet and delicious! The last day was a tour that left when I couldn't eat breakfast, so he prepared a sandwich.

In the city center, walk 20 minutes to Ningxia Street Night Market. Behind me is the MRT station, there are convenience stores nearby, and there are many early morning shops. Environment is good, facilities are decent. The service staff was welcoming. But it seems there are only 8-person rooms? There is a tavern on the first floor, there is no front desk service at night, there is a small balcony on the roof, you can enjoy the MRT drive
