Yusense Hotel

National Palace Museum Taipei|2.1km from Jin Mian Shan Trail
I stayed at Yusense Hotel for my mandatory quarantine during November 2021. The room was super clean, essentially spotless - a real comfort to see during Covid times. The room was spacious, with enough floor area to exercise. The room's mountain view immediately put me at peace, which was much needed as quarantine/isolation can really put one's mood down. The room got plenty of sunlight as well - another source of mood booster. On service - one might think service might not be important during quarantine given you're locked up 24/7, but if you've quarantined before, you'll know it's crucial - hotel staff did an outstanding job - from promptly responding to my requests, to customizing my meal plan for my dietary restrictions, to quickly getting my Foodpanda deliveries from the front desk to the doorstep of my room. The hotel staff was extremely attentive and responsive and I'm really thankful to them for that. The meal plan was well thought out, fruits were provided as part of the meals daily, and the occasional surprise afternoon tea/cakes were a delight. Only negatives I'd say is that the room windows were a bit too reflective at night, and, and for my own personal preference, there wasn't enough room lighting during the night hours (natural lighting during the day was great), however the hotel was happy to provide extra lamps upon request. This hotel really had it all to make my quarantine stay more pleasant.

Room: The theme of the room I stayed in was Fantasyland. The room decoration was very fashionable and had a romantic atmosphere. The equipment was complete and the maintenance was pretty good. The housekeeping staff was very attentive and the room was cleaned very clean. The room was also very quiet. Although you can occasionally hear the sound of wall collisions, the impact is not big. The bed is very big and it is very comfortable to sleep on. When you see the carousel, you can't help but pretend to be an Internet celebrity and take pictures. Overall, I am very satisfied and will look forward to staying again. Parking: There is a garage and parking is very convenient. There is an MRT station nearby. The transportation is very convenient and the functionality is good. Bathroom: The jacuzzi in the room is quite large, with colorful lights and a good atmosphere. Taking a bath is particularly relaxing. There is also a steam device in the shower room where you can enjoy sweating and promote smooth metabolism. Although the tap of the water is very obvious when the faucet is turned on, it is also very relaxing. It's within the acceptable range. The bath supplies prepared in addition are very carefully prepared and packaged with great care. They are very high-quality. Breakfast: I arrived late, but the service staff was very kind. Chinese and Western breakfast, a variety of meals, the meals were neatly and cleanly arranged, and the table was always kept tidy and tidy. Service: The staff at the counter are very attentive, friendly and polite, which is great

Miramar Ferris Wheel Taipei|1.96km from Jin Mian Shan Trail
The hotel is located in an office area, so it will be busier during the day on weekdays, but on weekends it will be less crowded and quieter. But there are also many restaurants nearby. If you walk a few minutes more, you can reach the 737 Food Street, where there are many different delicacies! The best thing is that there is a 24-hour Carrefour downstairs. We happened to arrive at the hotel at 12 o'clock this time on a night flight. We bought some cup noodles and drinks at Carrefour to fill our stomachs! In addition, there is a coffee machine and a small refrigerator with some drinks in the hotel lobby. Guests are welcome to use them. Like! The hotel room is also very large. A group of 7 people can enjoy it together in the room after buying late-night snacks at 737. There is also a lot of space to move around, which is great! The hotel is also very close to the MRT station, and transportation is convenient! However, we also requested a taxi when entering and exiting, and it was very convenient for the car to pick up and drop off at the entrance of the hotel! PS. There is a good self-service laundry nearby. The machine is from Japan. It has a large capacity and can be washed and dried. The price is also cheap. Even if you stay for a week, you can only bring a few pullovers, wash and dry them once every three days, and travel light! Next time I come to Taipei, I don’t want to stay in the expensive and expensive hotel near Taipei Railway Station. This hotel in Neihu District is a good choice~

Just next to Jiantan Station and no issue to find the hotel even though we arrived late in the evening. Room was spacious with great amenities. Breakfast was basic but adequate. Appreciated the free items in the minibar. Would be better if there was gym facilities equipped. Otherwise, it was a great stay!

It feels a little harsh to rate this hotel low, the staff were very friendly and helped call taxis and everything was very straightforward. The hotel is not really near much, all the touristy things I wanted to do I needed to catch a taxi (this is my fault not the hotel, I know). The pool was closed and it was very quiet. I did enjoy my stay but would stay more central next time.

Apart from the slightly inconvenient location (10 minutes walk from the nearest subway station), it's a lovely stay in a modern hotel with professional staff who try their best to make you feel comfortable.

Merging modern chic with traditional elegance, the hotel is a spectacle to behold. With a beautiful Victorian garden immediately to the left of the entrance, a rooftop garden and swimming pool, and other instagram-worthy spots scattered through the hotel, our stay there was like a scavenger hunt for the picture that will get the most “likes”. Vainness aside, the service is most excellent. The concierge kindly answered all our questions about airport shuttle and local breakfast joints, and was very helpful in general. The room itself was clean and spacious, and every thing you can ask for. Heck, the toilet seat was automated to greet us by opening its cover upon entry in the bathroom! The location, only 5 mins away from the train station and standing right next to the Miramar Entertainment Park, is also unbeatable. Everything that we need can be accessed right at our doorstep. The stay was so pleasant that we didn’t want to leave!

The service attitude is very good. The best thing is that although we can't check in until 18:00 at night, we can leave our car in the hotel's parking space first. This helps us a lot without having to go outside to find a parking space. It's also quite close to the MRT station. The location is very convenient and the environment is very clean. I will book accommodation here next time I have the opportunity to go to Taipei!
