Shilin Night Market
Just next to Jiantan Station and no issue to find the hotel even though we arrived late in the evening. Room was spacious with great amenities. Breakfast was basic but adequate. Appreciated the free items in the minibar. Would be better if there was gym facilities equipped. Otherwise, it was a great stay!

Taipei Railway Station
The hotel is surprisingly ok despite being in an old business district. It gets dark by 10 so this is the only disadvantage. The 7-11 is cute overload and so convenient. To the airport, go beimen station exit and taoyuan airport express line is so convenient. I booked at sg 88, so yea quite a good deal. Taiwan is a safe *******. Thank you 🙏

World Trade Center Exhibition Center
The hotel was almost walking distance to tourist attractions, shopping malls and even night markets. The services of the hotel staffs especially the front desk reception were attentive and courteous. You can even do your own laundry free with detergents provided at the hotel laundry room. We enjoyed our stay very much with our rooms view of Taipei 101. Mrt and bus station were just beside use hotel. Big improvement since my last stay before covid-19. Keep it up. Will be back again.

I stayed for three nights. Recently, there seems to be no word of mouth posts, so I hope you can refer to it. As the past word of mouth, it's really dark throughout. I don't know the control of the lighting in the room, and I can open the curtain in the morning and finally work at the desk. The corridor is dim and in addition, there is only one elevator, and it is unbelievable that it is No. 1 in the tango in the Nakayama area. The room with a coffee machine was out of order. I gave up because I was troubled to go to the front desk. The hospitality in the rooms other than the lighting is the best, and I think it is the best hotel since Corona began to calm down and I can go to Taiwan. I was especially satisfied with the bathroom. There were plenty of towels. I like it many times, but I thought it was perfect for hotel life except for lighting. Meals are about a bonus. It was also dim here and it was difficult to confirm the product name. I never stay at a luxury hotel, but I feel that the breakfast level of a hotel in Taiwan has fallen recently.

Wufenpu Commercial Circle
It is very close to MRT Houshanpi Station. When you go out of the hotel, turn right and you will see Cosmetics. Opposite is the 711 convenience store. You will have arrived at the MRT station in less than 30 seconds. There are small food shops nearby, and many people line up in the morning. If you often travel by MRT, the location is very convenient. The interior of the hotel is also very good. The blue door next to the lobby is the restaurant. It provides a buffet breakfast. There are quite a few choices and it is definitely enough. The room is neither too big nor too small. It has a bathtub and only shampoo and shower gel in the bathroom. Probably because they support environmental protection, if you need it, you can pick up disposable toothbrushes, shampoo, conditioner, shower gel, slippers, etc. in the lobby.

Hotel staff were very friendly & helpful . The hotel room were clean & spacious . The location is very convenient. Lots of transport to choose . I travel from kaoshiung to Nanggang . I don’t need to take transport to hotel as it’s only a few minutes walk . My first Stay at your hotel is very satisfying So I come to stay again with my family & friend. The Food at the Buffet Breakfast is also great. Their Chinese restaurant is the most I like . So so so good & yummy. So far it’s the best Chinese Cantonese food. Tips for Selecting a 4 Star Hotel in Taipei

Taipei: A Blend of Tradition and Modernity

Taipei offers a unique mix of the traditional and the contemporary. Known for its bustling night markets, towering skyscrapers, and rich cultural heritage, Taipei is a city that never sleeps. It's a place where you can savor mouthwatering street food, explore ancient temples, and marvel at cutting-edge architecture, all in a single day.

Journeying to Taipei

Taipei is served by Taoyuan International Airport, the largest airport in Taiwan, located about 40 km from the city center. The city is also easily accessible by high-speed rail from other parts of Taiwan. In the city, the Taipei MRT (metro) provides efficient and easy transportation.

The official currency is the New Taiwan Dollar (TWD), and Mandarin Chinese is the primary language. English is taught in schools, so younger locals and those in the tourism industry generally speak it.

Most nationalities can enter Taiwan visa-free for tourism purposes for stays up to 90 days, but always check the latest visa information before your trip.

Must-Visit Attractions in Taipei

Start your Taipei adventure with a visit to the iconic Taipei 101, once the world's tallest building, offering stunning panoramic city views. Explore the historic temples of Taipei, including the beautiful Longshan Temple.

Savor Taipei's renowned street food at Shilin Night Market, one of the city's biggest and most famous night markets. For culture enthusiasts, a visit to the National Palace Museum, home to one of the largest collections of Chinese imperial artifacts, is a must.

Weather & Best Time to Visit Taipei

Taipei has a humid subtropical climate, with temperatures ranging from 16°C in winter to 34°C in summer. The best times to visit are during spring (April to June) and autumn (September to November) when the weather is pleasant and rainfall is less frequent. As sudden showers are common, it's always wise to carry an umbrella.

Choosing Your Hotel in Taipei

Taipei offers accommodations for every kind of traveler. For a luxury stay in a bustling district, consider the W Taipei in Xinyi, just a stone's throw from Taipei 101. History enthusiasts might appreciate a hotel in the old-town Datong district, such as the charming DG Hotel.

For a more budget-friendly stay, the Star Hostel Taipei East in Zhongzheng offers affordability without sacrificing comfort. Business travelers might find the convenient location and modern amenities of the Sheraton Grand Taipei Hotel ideal.
