Beitou Resort Metro Inn

I started looking for accommodation in Beitou two months ago and finally chose Jie Zhi Zhi Hotel. It is fully equipped with washing machines, dryers, drink dispensers, refrigerators, etc., making customers feel warm and comfortable. The front desk staff answered questions kindly and made me relax. During vacation, the meals are authentic and delicious. I like to order my favorite Hong Kong cuisine a la carte, fried rice with scallops, black tuna and roe, the grains are distinct, and paired with a pot of hot rose and cinnamon tea, it’s perfect! I made an appointment with my friends to come here for vacation next time! Thumbs up

Convenient transportation, warm service, clean room, good coffee, very close to the subway station, because the boss is enthusiastic, the second time staying, the room was very clean, but the air conditioner was a bit cold and not adjustable, there were more mosquitoes, and free coffee.

Generally, I don’t choose youth hostel accommodation when I go out. Considering that accommodation costs in Taipei are generally high, and I leave early and come back late every day, the actual time in the room is very short, so I stayed here once. It was also my first time staying in a youth hostel. . The overall condition of the public bathroom is quite clean. If it is a girls' bathroom, there is a special access control. There will be almost no services during the stay, so there is nothing to comment on.

This was really good, just the check in times we're a little annoying as it's only between 15:00 and 18:00. Apart from this it was great and I would stay here again.

This is a unique small hotel in Dadaocheng. The interior space is very well designed but not artificial. The layout of the old space is used appropriately in both public spaces and rooms. This time we stayed on the fourth floor, and you can see it when you come out of the room. The balcony of Dadaocheng Skyline is very suitable for leisurely drinking, chatting and relaxing. The service is very friendly, the room is clean, and the shared kitchen is small but has everything you need. Overall, I am very satisfied.

I am very satisfied with this stay. I originally wanted to stay a few more days when I came back from Taitung. Unfortunately, there are no more rooms ... First of all, the location of the room is very good, and it is very convenient to go anywhere ~~ I walk to Taipei Station to buy a train ticket, which is only a few minutes; walking to Ximending is also very close to the MRT station, but because Walking is very good, so I hardly ever took the bus or MRT during my stay. Speaking of which, it is also quite convenient to take a bus. A few minutes walk is a bus that reaches 9 minutes, which is simply too good. Second, there are too many places to eat nearby! I have included a few foods that I have eaten nearby, which I think are pretty good (unfortunately, the capacity of the pictures is limited, but there are many delicious places) Third, the room was very comfortable. The three windows in the corner were open, and they were already very ventilated, and the bathroom had windows. The rooms are also large, with a make-up table, desk and even a snack table shown in the picture. The facilities are also very complete, with hangers and hangers for clothes, and various shelves for things. Lavender shower gels and shampoos for bathrooms are also good. In short, I like this housing experience very much. I will come again next time I have the opportunity and will recommend it to friends. (Also, the attached video is in the lobby outside the room on the 4th floor.)

Tips for Selecting a 2 Star Hotel in Taipei

Taipei: A Blend of Tradition and Modernity

Taipei offers a unique mix of the traditional and the contemporary. Known for its bustling night markets, towering skyscrapers, and rich cultural heritage, Taipei is a city that never sleeps. It's a place where you can savor mouthwatering street food, explore ancient temples, and marvel at cutting-edge architecture, all in a single day.

Journeying to Taipei

Taipei is served by Taoyuan International Airport, the largest airport in Taiwan, located about 40 km from the city center. The city is also easily accessible by high-speed rail from other parts of Taiwan. In the city, the Taipei MRT (metro) provides efficient and easy transportation.

The official currency is the New Taiwan Dollar (TWD), and Mandarin Chinese is the primary language. English is taught in schools, so younger locals and those in the tourism industry generally speak it.

Most nationalities can enter Taiwan visa-free for tourism purposes for stays up to 90 days, but always check the latest visa information before your trip.

Must-Visit Attractions in Taipei

Start your Taipei adventure with a visit to the iconic Taipei 101, once the world's tallest building, offering stunning panoramic city views. Explore the historic temples of Taipei, including the beautiful Longshan Temple.

Savor Taipei's renowned street food at Shilin Night Market, one of the city's biggest and most famous night markets. For culture enthusiasts, a visit to the National Palace Museum, home to one of the largest collections of Chinese imperial artifacts, is a must.

Weather & Best Time to Visit Taipei

Taipei has a humid subtropical climate, with temperatures ranging from 16°C in winter to 34°C in summer. The best times to visit are during spring (April to June) and autumn (September to November) when the weather is pleasant and rainfall is less frequent. As sudden showers are common, it's always wise to carry an umbrella.

Choosing Your Hotel in Taipei

Taipei offers accommodations for every kind of traveler. For a luxury stay in a bustling district, consider the W Taipei in Xinyi, just a stone's throw from Taipei 101. History enthusiasts might appreciate a hotel in the old-town Datong district, such as the charming DG Hotel.

For a more budget-friendly stay, the Star Hostel Taipei East in Zhongzheng offers affordability without sacrificing comfort. Business travelers might find the convenient location and modern amenities of the Sheraton Grand Taipei Hotel ideal.
