New City Hotel

Overall ok. They are very informative. Location is good. Very near to shuanglian mrt. And walk about 10mins to ningxia night market. Just nice to capture the big sunset outside from the hotel.

The location is excellent with an MRT station nearby and there are a lot of eateries around. There is a morning market across the road and the night market is about 10mins walk. There are coffee and snacks at the lobby.

Room was clean, location is excellent, front desk is friendly and welcome. Stayed 3 nights had 2 nights false alarm in 2am and 4 am. Toliet got blocked and answer was no service until next day. A lot of eatery around.

Great location, amazing service, and very friendly staff. The room was clean and comfortable. Only downside was the thin walls. Otherwise a solid stay, and will book again the next time I visit Taipei!

Travelled with kids. Location wise was really good. There's lots of food options amd convenience shops just outside the hotel. Walking distance to shuanglian mrt station, malls and taipei main station (2 mrt stops). Room was clean with basic amenities (slipper, shampoo, body soap, safety box, kettle with tea and coffee packets. Room was also modern and has a big TV. Room was also relatively sound proof. One perk is that there's free snacks, coffee and water at the lobby. Lobby is manned 24 hrs when we checked out at 5am it was fuss free. Hotel name might be hard to find via google map, but just enter the address and you will find the location easily. Will stay here again for its location and value for money room rates.

Free snacks and drinks at reception is good. Friendly staff at reception that allow us to put our luggage after we checked out so that we can go around in comfort before our night flight home

I will definitely stay in this hotel again because the staffs were very friendly and helpful. The location was great just a few min walks to the MRT station. Lots of eateries around. Love th free coffee n snacks at the lobby.

Hi, I booked a 2-night stay. On the first morning, loud drilling began around 8am, making rest impossible. As a result, I checked out at 10am after the first night and did not use the second night. I am requesting a refund for the unused night. The ongoing renovation noise was continuous and intrusive, even with noise-cancelling earphones. Staff confirmed the works had been ongoing for about a week with no clear end date, and my request to move to a quieter room was declined. Given that the room was cleaned after my checkout and likely resold, it is reasonable that I am refunded for the second night. Please refer to my prior email and review for details. I expect this matter to be resolved promptly.
