The location of this hotel is perfect, situated right next to 101. A short walk across the footbridge and you have access to a number of restaurants and food court. The room itself is sufficient but a bit old and dated. The lobby is big and full of people, almost like a tourist attraction. With the doors constantly opening and closing, any cold air tends to escaping resulting in quite a warm and uncomfortable lobby.

The service was excellent and very welcoming. I had a really comfortable stay. I'll definitely go back next time I visit Taiwan.

The Japanese restaurant was excellent, and the breakfast was outstanding with a great variety and high quality. Spacious, quiet rooms and very comfortable beds. Highly recommended – we would definitely return.

I had an excellent stay at the Grand Hyatt Taipei. The location is unbeatable—right next to Taipei 101 and in the heart of the Xinyi district, making it so convenient for sightseeing, shopping, and dining. From the moment I arrived, the service was warm and attentive. The lobby is beautiful and welcoming, and the staff always greeted me with a smile. My room was spacious, very clean, and well-designed, with a comfortable bed and a great view of Taipei 101. Housekeeping kept everything spotless during my stay. Breakfast was another highlight—the buffet had a wide variety of delicious choices, both Western and Asian, and everything was fresh. I also appreciated the hotel facilities, especially the gym and pool, which were well maintained. Overall, I highly recommend the Grand Hyatt Taipei for anyone visiting the city. It truly delivers a luxury experience with comfort, excellent service, and perfect location. I will definitely stay here again on my next trip to Taipei.

The hotel is conveniently located near Taipei 101, but unfortunately, there aren’t many local food options in the vicinity.

Hotel is very clean and easy to locate. Even if not in very vibrant neighbourhood, Taipei101 is just beside it and multiple malls are very accessible!
