Royal Inn Taipei Nanxi

This is my second time staying here. The family room this time is bigger than last time. The front desk clerk is polite and the cleaning lady is also very polite. The location is very good. Entrance No. 3 of Zhongshan Station is a 2-minute walk downstairs. Everything is easy to do. We found a restaurant, opposite Shin Kong Mitsukoshi and Eslite

The location is very advantageous! It is only a 5-minute walk from Zhongshan Business District. It only takes 1 minute to walk downstairs to reach Zhongshan MRT Station. It only takes about 3 minutes to walk to Chifeng Street, which has been very popular recently. It is recommended to stay here.

The hotel is on the 8th floor or higher of the building, so it was hard to tell where it was when I was walking on the street, so I passed by it many times. The building is old so there are limits to the cleanliness of the rooms, but they were clean. Unfortunately, the door couldn't be locked (there was one, but it didn't seem to work). There is a frosted glass (?) partition between the shower room and the bedroom, so when I went to the bathroom in the middle of the night and turned on the bathroom light, the bedroom became very bright, causing a nuisance to my family. I want the light to not reach that thing. The breakfast buffet didn't have a lot of variety, which was disappointing. At the time of check-in, it wasn't the check-in time yet, so I was planning to try it out and if it didn't work, I would just leave my luggage and go out, but I was able to check in, so I was able to do it on a case-by-case basis. Good location and convenient Although the building is old, it has been renovated and is beautiful. It is frequented by Japanese people, and there are staff who can speak Japanese, so you can rest assured.

The richness and contents are OK. However, the bathtub was very dirty, but it seems like it's hard to remove, so I wonder if it needs a major cleaning or renovation. The check-in process was very poor. Since I was in a hurry, I gave them my business card for things that weren't necessary for check-in (company information, etc.), and I asked them to enter it later, but they kept my business card, but I couldn't do it until I entered it myself. It was very poorly done. I reserved a limousine taxi that had been arranged for me before, and even though I asked for a higher price, they called me a regular yellow taxi. I was even more annoyed because I was picking up a passenger, and since I had already paid the additional fee for asking the driver to stop at one place, I was told that if the taxi was out of service, I could just take a regular taxi myself to the stop. However, I was able to arrange my own taxi afterwards. There was no point in asking for a limousine taxi since it was a limousine taxi. I told them that I would pay at checkout so that I could pay by card, but I was told that taxis would accept cards on the day of the trip, so I was told to just pay the taxi, and in the end the taxis did not accept cards. The taxi went to a different terminal, and I had a lot of trouble with the driver because I couldn't get a receipt for the taxi, and it was in front of the customers, so I had a very bad impression. In the end, even though I had a receipt, the driver was just being a pain. It may be the taxi driver's fault, but it's the fault of the hotel that called such a taxi, the fault of the affiliated hotel, the fault of the hotel that called a different limousine taxi when they requested one, and the fault of the hotel for not giving an explanation. Even though I had informed the hotel in advance of the airport terminal I was going to, when I checked out, the hotel staff asked me again to look it up because they didn't know the terminal, and everything was in bad shape. Also, breakfast was only available from 7:00, so there were many days when I couldn't eat it. It should be at least from 6:00 or 6:30. It says that breakfast is included for those who normally leave early, but it's better to think that it's a lie. The quality of the hotel has declined considerably.
