Wellspring by Silks Beitou

Wellness descends upon arrival at this hotel. I must say we were blown away - by the design and experience. This was an excellent hotel and environment and one of the best stays in Taipei our family had. There is welcome snacks and drinks and a very serene peaceful space in every corner of the hotel. We enjoyed the quiet ambience and respectful service by the various staff. The in-room onsen bath is a highlight of the stay. And the beds (we had a large king) was simply divine. The mattress topper was superb, firm and yet supportive and comfortable. The variety of pillows available made our sleep sweet. I have to commend the quality of bedding - it is excellent! The decor and room is elegantly well-designed with thoughtful details, we appreciated it so much. I would definitely come back to Beitou again just to stay here again! This was our first onsen-in-room experience, and the room itself was spectacular. We were upgraded to a premium room with outdoor onsen and hinoki bathtubs. Happy hour, dinner, and breakfast were all wonderful. However, all hospitality ended the moment we checked out. We left our luggage at 11 AM and returned at 6:30 PM to collect it before our 7 PM ride. Upon entering, a staff member stopped me and defensively asked what my business was. After explaining we just needed to wait in the lounge, we were met with total coldness. We knew we weren't entitled to the ongoing happy hour, but to not even be offered a glass of water at a premium hotel charging RM1,500+++ a night is unacceptable. We felt completely unwelcome and awkward. The jarring contrast between how we were treated as paying guests versus checked-out guests felt like a punch in the stomach. This hypocrisy speaks volumes about the hotel's values. We went from planning our next stay to ensuring we will never step foot here again.

This was our second stay at this hotel, and we enjoyed it just as much as the first time. We especially love the hot spring tubs, which are very relaxing. The kids had a great time at the playground, and the room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. Overall, it was another pleasant stay, and we would gladly return.

The in-room onsen was amazing. The location is the best. Just within walking distance of any part of Beitou, as well as the Train Station. The breakfast spread was good. Complimentary Wine and Sparkling during high tea is definitely a plus point!

This hotel is amazing! The breakfast had a lot of variety and all of them were delicious. The location is very closed to the metro station. There are quite a number of restaurants nearby. All of the hotel staff were very attentive , helpful and polite. The ridge was filled up every night with drinks and they even provided the mask which was great after the hot spring. Toothbrushes were only provided upon request.
