It is a four star hotel but it doesn't give you the service with the same merit. A wrinkle happened and their contingency plan was poor and unprofessional, kinda used to this Taipei cold shoulder when the reception stopped talking means ”please leave” and such unprofessionalism is quite an abhor in a four star setting.
Glad the incident got solved so I would still recommend people to stay if only they are used to nonchalant service.

The room was spotless, much better than I expected. The location is super convenient, not far from the MRT and Shilin Night Market. The front desk staff were really welcoming. No smoking in the rooms, but there's a designated smoking area right outside the front entrance.

The location is very accessible and near train stations which was used mostly to visit country’s must visit places. Also near malls known outlets with lots of different foods and milk teas to try. The water pressure in the shower is superb! Hotel cr and rooms is just the right size, smells good and clean esp since you can always order to make up room, but the security is somehow questionable since the hotel doesn’t have a front desk or a guard we sometimes worry about our safety while staying inside so better bring some additional locks for safety!

Location is quite accessible and walking distance to the train station. Nearest is the NTU Hospital stop and about 10 mins walking distance to the airport train station. This was a giver to avoid bad traffic during peak hours and I could walk to XMD also. The cleaning aunty was also friendly too. The room is small but it's good enough for solo travel or couple who travel light and simple.

From the moment we stepped into Hotel B6 in the vibrant heart of Ximending, Taipei, we knew we were in for a treat. While the location is superb—just a short, easy walk from the MRT station and right next to all the major shopping and dining spots—what truly set this hotel apart was the outstanding, truly impressive level of service.
The staff at the 24-hour front desk are the genuine stars of Hotel B6. They were unfailingly polite, cheerful, and incredibly attentive. They made us feel immediately welcome and went above and beyond to assist us. Whether it was giving spot-on local recommendations for the best street food, helping with directions, or arranging a hassle-free airport transfer, they handled every request with grace and efficiency. We were particularly impressed by their proactive approach—always greeting us with a warm smile and a helpful inquiry about our day. This level of personalized care transformed a simple hotel stay into a truly memorable experience.
Our room was spotlessly clean, modern, and very comfortable. Despite being in a bustling area, the soundproofing was excellent, allowing for a great night's sleep. The amenities were thoughtful, and the free Wi-Fi worked flawlessly.
In summary: If you are looking for a hotel in Taipei with a perfect location in Ximending, clean and stylish rooms, but most importantly, a team that delivers exceptional, world-class hospitality, look no further than Hotel B6. The staff’s dedication to superb service is truly commendable and made our trip to Taiwan unforgettable! We would absolutely choose to stay here again.

The room was clean and spacious, and overall the hotel is pretty nice. The location is also very convenient—it’s only about a 2-minute walk to the Taiwan National Museum and around a 5-minute walk to the MRT Red Line, which made getting around very easy.
However, there were a few strange things during our stay. At night, we could hear unusual noises from the roof, almost like kids running or a washing machine banging. Another odd thing was that the curtain opened by itself during the night. It felt quite creepy and honestly made us uncomfortable. I’m not joking—it really happened.
Aside from those strange experiences, the hotel itself is cool and the location is great.

I booked a windowless single room this time. The air quality in the room was just okay, probably because there's no natural ventilation. The hotel's location is excellent, with many restaurants and supermarkets right outside. The subway isn't super close, but it's within walking distance. The hotel's cleanliness was only average. There was plenty of hot water. Since it was an accessible bathroom, it was quite spacious. The TV offered free on-demand programs. The front desk was staffed 24/7. There was a strong air freshener scent throughout the hotel. The hotel amenities were very basic.
No frills hotel. A bit old. Staff wasn't the most friendly. But you get what you pay for. Decent room, no issues with anything, decent location. Nice bath, good water pressure.
