the Retro Tai-pan Properties in Tainan

it was a great stay at Tainan. The hotel is super accommodating and the staffs are friendly. I really enjoyed the breakfast provided by the hotel and there are a few options to choose from for everyday. I had a noisy neighbour during the stay, but the staff attended to it and even compensated me a latte after I check out! Attitude matters the most and it was very pleasant. Strongly recommended.

The location is super convenient, and it's clean and tidy. The hot and cold water works great with good pressure, though the shower stall is a bit small. The air conditioning in the room is also very cool. I'd give it 95+ out of 100! You check in at the hotel next door, which was fine. Very satisfied! 👍

The location is fantastic, right next to Guohua Street, making it super convenient for food. The room was clean, and although it wasn't huge, it was perfectly adequate for two people on a domestic trip. The bathroom was also clean. However, if you have two 20-inch suitcases, it might feel a bit cramped. The only real downside is the poor soundproofing (you can hear conversations from the next room). This was especially noticeable when guests came back from clubs around 2 or 3 AM, chatting loudly, which was a bit disruptive. Oh, and the hotel is right next to a temple, so that's something to consider depending on your preferences. (By the way, the hotel does provide earplugs!) Haha~
