Room 509 had an overwhelming bleach/disinfectant smell as soon as I opened the door, I almost thought I'd get chlorine poisoning. Please, when it comes to cleaning, can you think about the next guest? There are plenty of less pungent cleaning products on the market! Also, showering in the tub is fine, but the diverter valve to switch to the showerhead is incredibly hard to pull up. Every time you turn off the water and turn it back on, it reverts to the faucet. It's impossible to pull the diverter up to switch back to the showerhead when your hands are soapy, especially when you're in the middle of washing your hair, face, or body and need to turn the water off and on again. Try showering yourself and turning the water off mid-shower. Furthermore, the bottom of the tub is super slippery and there are no handrails. It's only a matter of time before a guest slips and gets seriously hurt.

Overall, it was a pleasant stay. The hotel is conveniently located, just an 8-minute walk from the train station. The room was nice, with a large and comfortable bed, and very little noise, which made for a good night's sleep. I appreciated the separate wet and dry areas in the bathroom. My only minor complaint is that the bathroom trash can was a bit too small, but otherwise, everything was great.

This hotel is super close to the train station, literally right across the street, which makes getting around incredibly convenient. There's also a bus stop right downstairs, which is great. My only minor complaint is that the soundproofing isn't the best; I could hear people playing mahjong or cards. Still, the fantastic location for getting around definitely makes up for it. I really liked my stay overall.

Great location, right across from the train station. There's a 7-Eleven and FamilyMart nearby. The front desk staff, especially the lady, was very helpful and even assisted us with getting a taxi. Very convenient!

At first, I would worry about sound insulation because the overall structure and room type were small, but later I found that because it was quiet in the alleys of residential areas, I could also understand the hotel's past history and the transformation I had experienced. I could understand the operator's care and love for this building. It is a living history that can understand change, I hope it can let more people understand and love, and thank you for spending 3 days and 2 nights with me!

The location is great, with plenty of food options within walking distance. It's also a convenient 15-minute walk to the Garden Night Market, so no need to worry about driving and parking. There's a U-Bike station right outside, and you can also rent bicycles, which is very handy. The hotel offers parking, which I highly recommend. On my previous trip to Tainan, I stayed at a place without parking, and parking at Haian Parking Lot cost me over 2,000 NTD for a two-night, three-day stay. This time, I specifically looked for a hotel with parking. However, there are some downsides: The facade is beautiful, but it feels understaffed, with every service person looking incredibly busy. Inside the room, you can visibly see a lot of dirt, such as multiple stains left by previous guests on the chair cushions, and yellowed stains in several spots in the sink. The tabletop was visibly dusty, and as soon as the air conditioning was turned on, I couldn't stop sneezing. I wouldn't recommend this place for people with nasal allergies. The shower design is problematic; if you hang towels and clothes inside the shower, they get wet after you shower. If you don't hang them inside, it gets cold when you step out, and you have to ask someone to hand you a towel, which is quite inconvenient. The breakfast offers a variety of items, but none of them were particularly delicious. This is just my personal opinion, and others might feel differently. Next time, I'll choose a room without breakfast, as there are so many great food options in Tainan. We stayed in a quad room for over 3,000 NTD. If the cleanliness could be improved, I think the value for money would be excellent. Keep up the good work! Just my personal opinion, for reference.

The Jia Xin Hotel is conveniently located on Hai'an Road, close to Tainan's Garden Night Market, making transportation and parking very easy. The restaurant is also very clean, and a unique highlight is the free late-night snack service. Seating is spacious and comfortable. There's a convenience store right next to the hotel, and inside, you'll find a charming, artsy cafe (open from afternoon until evening). Within a 15-20 minute drive, you can enjoy several famous beef soup places (including Liu Family Beef Hot Pot) and visit historic sites in the West Central District, such as the Grand Guandi Temple, Grand Matsu Temple, and Chihkan Tower.

The hotel is very clean, with excellent service and facilities. Breakfast was delicious and catered to a wide range of tastes. The beds were especially spacious and comfortable. Definitely worth the money plus a convenient location.

The environment is great and the location is good too, about 500 meters from the nearest bus stop, right next to National Cheng Kung University. It's very quiet. The room is large and clean, and all the facilities are new. The service is also excellent. The front desk staff was very friendly and even upgraded us to an executive suite. The travel guide on the second floor is also fantastic, and the snacks are pretty good too.
