Hotels in East District, Tainan

The hotel has a warm and elegant atmosphere, is well-equipped, and very clean. The service is prompt, and it offers great value for money. I'm very satisfied.

The accommodation is practical, essential, and clean. It's quite a unique experience that the entrance is inside a Family Mart; you go down the stairs and you're right in the convenience store, haha, definitely very convenient. On the other hand, its proximity to the station might be an issue for some – lots of people, constant coming and going, and noisy. The property offers 24/7 self-service coffee/tea packets. You can even make your own breakfast with bread, butter/jam/chocolate, etc. The idea of small events organized in the common room is a nice touch. Overall, I would recommend this hotel.

The room was clean, and I didn't experience any inconvenience. Toothbrushes are sold here, but it's best to bring your own. There's a laundry room on the first floor, but unfortunately, guests can't use it. You have to go to an outside laundry. The location is very convenient; you can easily get to the downtown area, as well as the night market and supermarkets. It's quiet at night, so you won't be bothered by noise.

The manager who  in charged of breakfast refuse my foreigners  customer to eat breakfast. The confirmation and notification SOP was very poor. The front desk people  and the restaurant people seemed to be disconnected. The experience was very bad.

The overall stay at the hotel was okay. The room was clean and comfortable enough, but the bed felt a bit small and only one pillow was provided, which was too low for a good night’s sleep. The bathroom also lacked a place to hang pants, which was a little inconvenient.

The staff were incredibly welcoming, making every morning and return to the hotel a pleasant experience. The location is a bit far from the city center or restaurants, requiring a taxi and making it somewhat inconvenient. However, there are convenience stores and a market nearby, so the surrounding amenities are decent. The rooms were generally clean and tidy, except one day I found a small cockroach in the sink. The hotel facilities are fairly complete, with a hairdryer provided and a hot water dispenser on the 3rd floor. However, the in-room TV was a bit small and the picture quality wasn't great. Also, the showerhead took quite a while to heat up; you had to turn on the water beforehand and wait. But commendably, the hot water supply was consistent.

It is very close to the back station of Tainan Railway Station, but if you stand out from the past, you have to detour a way. The hotel facilities are very complete, the fly in the ointment is that there is a smell in the room.

My first impression was that it was ”old school”, with a traditional sense of luxury that comes from an overwhelming Lobby & Reception, large comfortable Elevator lobbies etc. I also appreciate the great service from the staff who brought us extra coffee creamer, to housekeeping who straightened up my mess. Concierge was very attentive, she checked our taxi after we've alighted, to ensure that nothing was left behind. Its this attention to detail that I find rare these days, and therefore its left a deep impression on me. If I were to point out any shortcoming, it would be that the lighting design of the hotel needs a refresh. Some newer lights, aroma/scented corridors, and background music would help. (oops.. occupational hazard...).

Clean and concise

Convenient location, good overall, friendly service, fair price, good breakfast, good environment, not far from the night market, this is the most cost-effective hotel I have stayed in Taiwan during my stay in Taiwan, the service is warm, the location is good, there is a department store next to it, away from the Dongmen night market It's also very close.
