Hotel Sukimi

Clean and friendly staff. What I liked most was the complimentary cool drinks and snacks available at the lounge. The breakfast was simple, but I appreciated having kimchi. The hotel is right in front of a park, which was great for morning and evening strolls. However, the shower in the bathroom leaked, which was inconvenient.

The food was mediocre, and the water dispenser was only on the first floor. The room itself was quite spacious and generally clean, though there was some dust on the headboard. The hotel is located in an alley, which makes it quiet, but it's a bit of a walk to the convenience store.

When checking in, the parking lot next door offers free parking. The room was clean and tidy, and the bathroom had a separate shower and toilet. The soundproofing was good; we couldn't hear any noise from the neighboring rooms. I would definitely recommend it to friends and family.

For a hotel room costing over 3000 during the holidays, the value for money isn't great. Although they have a parking lot, it's completely insufficient for the guests. When I arrived late at night, there were no spots left, and even the public street parking was full. When I asked where else I could park, they actually told me I might have to Google it myself! During check-in, they didn't even fully explain what facilities were available, nor did they mention the gym's operating hours! The breakfast options the next day weren't extensive either. I won't be coming back next time!

The room was clean and generally comfortable. However, the breakfast service on weekdays was quite inconvenient. I informed them that I had to leave by 7:20 AM the next day, and the front desk said breakfast would be available at 7:00 AM. But when I got to the restaurant the next morning, I was told that on weekdays they only offer set meals cooked to order. By the time my breakfast arrived, it was already 7:20 AM, forcing me to awkwardly eat it in the taxi.

The hotel staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, making for a very comfortable stay right from check-in. While on-site parking is limited, there are plenty of public parking lots nearby, and the hotel offers validation. The only minor drawback was the somewhat cramped seating area for breakfast.

I chose a non-smoking room, but there was a noticeable cigarette smell for both nights of my stay, seemingly coming from the air conditioning. I had to constantly spray my own deodorizer. The soundproofing is very poor; I could clearly hear doors closing and people talking in the hallway at night. The restaurant layout is very bad; the aisle is extremely narrow, only allowing one person at a time. The food was also genuinely not good. The only positive was the good service from the staff. Otherwise, my family and I can't understand why this place has a rating of 9 or above.

The breakfast style depends on the number of guests. I wasn't a fan of the set menu options, especially since vegetarians, not to mention ovo-lacto vegetarians, had very limited choices. Overall, everything else was good, but the dining experience was a bit disappointing. 😞

The environment was very clean and the soundproofing was pretty good, so it was very quiet at night. I slept wonderfully. The room overall was spotless. The breakfast was decent. This time, I stayed in a triple room and thought it was super great – the hot water was incredibly hot! 😄😄😄 I really liked it.
