There is a restaurant on the first floor that smells of oil smoke//The room in the corridor upstairs smells of cigarette smoke, and then the smell of smoke lingers all over the room and in the bathroom🚬~The soundproofing of the room is also poor, and there are constant sounds of motorcycles and cars downstairs~Like It feels like sleeping on a balcony in a downtown area~ From the moment you enter, it feels like sitting on an old-fashioned green train. It keeps buzzing. Is it the engine? Even if the power is cut off, the room will still buzz without inserting the card ~ This non-stop noise, the smell of cigarette smoke will not go away ~ wake up in the morning and check out quickly ~ ~ ~ The only thing that gets a perfect five points is the service 👉 It's still very good 👍

I stayed here for three days. The place is great. There is a night market and a small square nearby within a 5-10 minute walk. There are all kinds of food. It is very convenient to get to the bus and so on. The check-in procedure is also convenient.

Taichung Railway Station/Miyahara Dessert Store
The night shift service staff is fine, and the counter waiters during the day are very, very poor. Because the room type I booked the next day was different from the first day, the waiter asked me to check out, and I would check in again at 4 pm. I said that I was renewing. I originally hoped that I could have time to rest. If the room was cleaned, I hope I can inform me earlier. The waiter said it was impossible. Another more serious problem, the place where the luggage is stored, put in the public chat place, there is no surrounding, the counter staff can not see the sight, any person can drag the luggage 🧳, very unsafe. Disappointing

All the staff were kind and gave detailed explanations! The room was spacious and clean. The location was about 50 minutes walk from Taichung Station, or 15 minutes by bus, and it was easy to get to tourist spots such as Yizhong Street Night Market, Rainbow Village, and Gaomei Wetland. Also, there were restaurants and convenience stores around the hotel that were open until late, so I didn't have any trouble finding food. Recommended for those looking for a high cost performance hotel ◎

The quiet accommodation environment, the room is clean and tidy, comfortable enough. The lobby counter has a good service attitude and is kind to help answer questions. There are many breakfast, lunch, dinner and supper shops nearby, as well as leisure and entertainment venues and cinemas. The location is very good.

, in fact, the decoration is very nice, but when it gets old, it feels completely eerie. The curtains in the room are very high, almost like a dark room, so you don't have to worry about being woken up by the sun. It's more like a hotel. In fact, the decoration is very nice, but it gets old and makes it feel eerie. The curtains in the room have a high coverage ratio, making it almost like a dark room, so you are not afraid of being woken up by the sun.

Introduction to Taichung

With a harmonious blend of traditional and modern, natural and urban, Taichung is home to both bustling markets and peaceful parks.

Tips for Travelling to Taichung

Taichung International Airport is the city's primary gateway, though travelers also arrive via the high-speed rail from Taipei or Kaohsiung. Taichung is served by an efficient bus network, and the city's bike sharing system is another convenient mode of transport.

The official currency is the New Taiwan Dollar (TWD), and credit cards are accepted at many places. However, carrying some cash is recommended for night markets and smaller vendors. The primary language is Mandarin Chinese, though English is spoken in many tourist spots.

It is advisable to check visa requirements as they vary by country.

Popular Attractions in Taichung

Don't miss the whimsical Rainbow Village, known for its colorful murals. The National Taichung Theater and Fengjia Night Market, one of Taiwan's largest night markets, are also worth a visit.

For nature lovers, the stunning Taichung Park and tranquil Zhongshe Flower Market are must-see attractions. Art enthusiasts should explore the Calligraphy Greenway and the National Taiwan Museum of Fine Arts.

Weather, Best Time to Visit, and What to Wear

Taichung enjoys a warm, humid climate year-round. The best time to visit is during fall (October to December) when the weather is cooler and dryer.

Light, breathable clothing is recommended. Be sure to carry a raincoat or umbrella, particularly during the rainy summer months (June to August).
