Millennium Hotel Taichung

Would like to highlight an issue we encountered with regards to our deposit and certain charges that were made to us but which we had not incurred. When we were checking out, we asked to have a look at our statement of charges as we understood that any additional charges would be offset by the deposit placed with the hotel. We had dinner at ”The Prime -Grill and Lounge” on one of the nights and just wanted to check if the charges were right. The statement showed 3 separate bills that were not incurred by us and were all purchases of alcohol, which we found strange. When we brought this up with the front desk, the staff did not seem surprised at all with the error or sought to verify the same anywhere nor were we given any apology for the mistake. It was as though she already knew that those 3 charges were unanauthorised transactions and said that the hotel would rectify the issue with the bank in respect of our deposit. The front desk was also very adamant to not let us speak to her manager about the issue. We just wanted to highlight the above because we would usually just trust the hotel to refund the right amount of deposit without checking, especially when using credit card to pay the same. But it may be worth checking when it comes to this hotel as based on the reaction which we got from the front desk, it seems that such mistakes whether intentional or not have happened before. We also hope that the hotel would do some sort of investigation into how issues like this could happen.

Staying at this hotel is the most comfortable time I have been to Taiwan so many times. Very rare hotel has a small independent balcony, you can have sunlight in. The bed was very clean and tidy, and the bed was very big enough. The overall environment is like entering a forest surrounded by trees, so the surrounding environment is very quiet. The front desk clerk was very good and made people feel at home. Near the Mid-Autumn Festival, I also received very thoughtful moon cakes and Wendanxuan, which made people feel heartwarming. If there are friends and family to go to Taichung, I will definitely recommend the hippie travel, because I will definitely go again.

The service rendered by the hotel is superb! Especially the front desk staff, friendly and always ready to help. The toilet water pressure is good, toilet is clean. The only downside is the aging smell from the carpet. I believe the hotel has not actively steam cleaning the carpet regularly, thus resulting in the strong smell from the carpet. I assume all other rooms’ carpet should be smelling the same as ours as this require steam cleaning to remove the odour. Other than this, everything is near perfect!

The stay experience was good, but there are a few things that could be improved 1. There is only one counter staff. As long as the customer answers the phone or handles other matters, the customer will be asked to wait. The staff from the bakery next to him will be required to provide support. The process seems a bit strange. 2. There is only one socket next to the bed, and that socket is stuck on the bedside table. My charger happens to be relatively large and cannot be plugged in at all. I have to run far away to charge at the plug on the TV side. 3. Following the second point, I originally thought it was pretty clean, but when I wanted to move the bedside table when the socket on my bedside couldn't be plugged in, I found that it was very dusty, so I didn't move the cabinet.

A decent hotel, only 100m away from the city MRT station, with convenient transportation and location. Breakfast may be included starting next month, but I hope it won't increase the cost too much. The overall CP value is high, but it is a bit old. But I still quite like it.

The environment is clean and tidy, but unfortunately there are not enough parking spaces. However, the receptionist said that he can provide the parking receipt to the hotel after check-out and will help pay for the parking fee, which is very kind. The hotel uses Chazitang products, which are very comfortable to use. I recommend you to stay here during your Taichung trip👍👍

My wife stayed in ~ last night. The environment location is good, but the room is dusty and the sanitation is poor. It seems that the last person has not been cleaned and disinfected after living. I really doubt that this can have epidemic prevention effect? ? ? In addition, the epidemic prevention food is difficult to swallow, the breakfast onion cake is hard to move, the ingredients of Chinese food are not very fresh, the wife is uncomfortable after eating a little stomach and diarrhea... In short, the overall feeling is very poor! difference! ! difference! ! ! And the food can not be unsubscribed, how to live for 14 days? ? ?
