Location is quite a distance from the city centre. Need to walk 10-15min to find local shops and eateries. Just across the hotel got a good-size supermarket. Bought local fruits for breakfast. No malls, night markets or shopping areas nearby. Room is spacious but rather old that needs upgrading. The staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast is good but selection rather limited. No yogurt and limited selection of fruits. Overall a reasonable good stay.

We are visiting Alishan, Sun-moon lake so make a stop at Taichung and we find this is a nice hotel and nice room and facilities are well equipt , we like hotel breadfast at the cafe which supply a bit variety of Asian food + American food too. It's a pity we only for a night , next trip I will plan to come back here for few days stay to explore Taitung.

Would like to highlight an issue we encountered with regards to our deposit and certain charges that were made to us but which we had not incurred. When we were checking out, we asked to have a look at our statement of charges as we understood that any additional charges would be offset by the deposit placed with the hotel. We had dinner at ”The Prime -Grill and Lounge” on one of the nights and just wanted to check if the charges were right. The statement showed 3 separate bills that were not incurred by us and were all purchases of alcohol, which we found strange. When we brought this up with the front desk, the staff did not seem surprised at all with the error or sought to verify the same anywhere nor were we given any apology for the mistake. It was as though she already knew that those 3 charges were unanauthorised transactions and said that the hotel would rectify the issue with the bank in respect of our deposit. The front desk was also very adamant to not let us speak to her manager about the issue. We just wanted to highlight the above because we would usually just trust the hotel to refund the right amount of deposit without checking, especially when using credit card to pay the same. But it may be worth checking when it comes to this hotel as based on the reaction which we got from the front desk, it seems that such mistakes whether intentional or not have happened before. We also hope that the hotel would do some sort of investigation into how issues like this could happen.

This time I booked connecting rooms. When a door is pushed in, there are two rooms on the left and right Very private for low-key people And you don’t have to worry about disturbing the neighbors. One of my favourite hotel!! Breakfast is very nice with a lot of options to choose. Love that there is TV in the toilet. The room is spacious for 4 adults. The downside is that the hotel is in the middle of the road. So it is a bit hard to cross the road if there is a lot of car driving pass.

There are buses around the station can take you anywhere around Taichung including Sun Moon lake. The buffet breakfast was good with mainly Chinese/********* food options. It's about a 5 minute walk from the station, and opposite Miyahara Ice Cream. Good location with good facilities like a gym and laundry within the hotel. Room is sizeable and good, but some improvements could still be done for the hotel such as better charging ports (the ones beside bed are fixed to a certain USB type) as well as a cabinet to hang clothing and towels. Overall, highly recommended if you are looking for a stay in Taichung.

Was given a bigger room but it has a funky smell. Requested to change a room but they denied until I had to give them a 2nd call right after they hang up. They asked someone to come over to check and upon acknowledging the weird smell in the toilet, they say just let the smell go away on it's own with freshener. I had to reject the housekeeper TWICE before they let me change another room which is much better. No smell and cleaner. They should've given this room from the start. Service is terrible but the location is just beside Fengjia Night Market which is a plus point. There is a bus stop just below the hotel that goes to Ruyi to get some snacks shopping done. Breakfast quality is bad but sufficient. No high expectation on the breakfast.

I booked a double room and room size was big enough and cosy. No bottles of drink water in room but can get warm/cold water from dispense at common area. Breakfast, don't expect to get many varieties, but enough to fill your stomach. Although it said bf starts at 7am, when I was there at that time, staff still preparing. Location is just a short walk to fourth credit union, also 10mins to train station.

Booked this hotel as it has indoor playground facility but only the big slide for the bigger toddler was interesting while the play area for the younger ones was placed at the laundry area which felt warm and dated. The rooms are not exactly soundproof as we can hear doors opening and shutting. Breakfast was pretty disappointing, other than for the fact that it has plain porridge which we manage to feed my babies. But the complimentary minibar was generous with coke and isotonic drink. Lobby staff were friendly and helpful though, while the breakfast chef/staff looked unhappy throughout our stay.

It's about a 5 minute walk from the station, and opposite Miyahara Ice Cream. Good location with good facilities like a gym and laundry within the hotel. Room is sizeable and good, but some improvements could still be done for the hotel such as better charging ports (the ones beside bed are fixed to a certain USB type) as well as a cabinet to hang clothing and towels. Overall, highly recommended if you are looking for a stay in Taichung.

The person who answered the service phone said he would notify me, but no one answered the call when I called the hotel counter, and the door was locked until 1 At half past 30, a foreign cleaning staff came back to open the door. I was in a bad mood from the beginning. In the room I checked in after visiting the night market, the TV couldn’t be switched. After I informed the receptionist, he came to help me and tried to fix it. But in the end I had no choice but to change my room. Fortunately, the receptionist at night was very nice and kind.
