Overall good! The size of the Viscount Room is OK for 2 people, not too small. The attitude of the service staff is also very good! There are parking spaces! Dinner was delicious (I thought of shooting after eating😅 forgive me!) There are Chinese and Western breakfast options, and the tastes are good! The food at dinner (morning and evening) will not taste too salty or light, it is very moderate! Disadvantages: The bed in the room is a bit hard, and the water in the shower room can sometimes be hot and cold. It is recommended to take a bath during low peak periods. The hotel provides paid acupressure and oil pressure. She is an experienced female teacher. After pressing the oil pressure, she feels that her whole body becomes more relaxed. Then take a bath and fall asleep super fast🤣 (You can try it if you need it. You need to make an appointment after you check in. You can get a discount coupon from the counter!)

On the same day, I took the public bus to Guguan Terminal. I was not familiar with the road of life, so I went to the tourist center to check the location of the hotel. Unexpectedly, the staff of the tourist center helped me inform the hotel. What is even more unexpected is that the hotel sent a car to pick up our luggage. Let us go back to the hotel to check in after a relaxing sightseeing. 😁 We immediately feel the hospitality of Taiwanese.

Comfortable environment, home-like service, but unfortunately there are always some bugs flying around in the mountainous area, there is nothing we can do about it. It’s relaxing to soak in the hot springs in the room, but the shower head feels like it’s about to break down. The wooden water ladle has a cracked corner. It’s a retro concept?

Although the appearance of the hotel looks old, the things in the room are not dirty. It is a comfortable place. There is a small hot spring pool in the room. The hot spring is very comfortable. The skin is slippery. Breakfast is a buffet Chinese breakfast. , the style is quite full. But the deliciousness needs to be strengthened, the service ecology is very good , the only drawback is that the hot spring facilities are a bit less , and the public pool dressing room is a bit rudimentary .

More about Taichung

Introduction to Taichung

With a harmonious blend of traditional and modern, natural and urban, Taichung is home to both bustling markets and peaceful parks.

Tips for Travelling to Taichung

Taichung International Airport is the city's primary gateway, though travelers also arrive via the high-speed rail from Taipei or Kaohsiung. Taichung is served by an efficient bus network, and the city's bike sharing system is another convenient mode of transport.

The official currency is the New Taiwan Dollar (TWD), and credit cards are accepted at many places. However, carrying some cash is recommended for night markets and smaller vendors. The primary language is Mandarin Chinese, though English is spoken in many tourist spots.

It is advisable to check visa requirements as they vary by country.

Popular Attractions in Taichung

Don't miss the whimsical Rainbow Village, known for its colorful murals. The National Taichung Theater and Fengjia Night Market, one of Taiwan's largest night markets, are also worth a visit.

For nature lovers, the stunning Taichung Park and tranquil Zhongshe Flower Market are must-see attractions. Art enthusiasts should explore the Calligraphy Greenway and the National Taiwan Museum of Fine Arts.

Weather, Best Time to Visit, and What to Wear

Taichung enjoys a warm, humid climate year-round. The best time to visit is during fall (October to December) when the weather is cooler and dryer.

Light, breathable clothing is recommended. Be sure to carry a raincoat or umbrella, particularly during the rainy summer months (June to August).

Choosing Your Ideal Hotel in Taichung

For luxury accommodations, consider the Windsor Hotel Taichung or the Millennium Hotel. Budget travelers might opt for the Taichung Box Design Hotel, known for its unique design and affordable rates.

The Beacon Hotel, located near the National Museum of Fine Arts, is a great option for art enthusiasts, while the Holiday Inn Express Taichung Park is conveniently located near the city center and provides great value for your money.
