The staff were really friendly, and the location was convenient, close to Feng Chia Night Market. However, the facilities are a bit old. Room cleaning wasn't very thorough; we even found unemptied trash when we checked in.

The location is good and the staffs are friendly. However the hotel seems lack of maintenance, the lobby looks good but the from the lift to rooms I can see stains on the carpet floor and the wallpaper along the walkway got some peel off area which looks quite aging. The room interior also doesn’t look as great as advertised in the pictures, the wallpapers were old and dirty as well as the sofa with stains. The curtain also spoiled and I can see lots of scratches/cracks on it. And there is dust on the cabinet even though it’s for covering up the wiring and not for guest use, it needs to be cleaned as well. But the bathroom is huge, no complain about this. They do not provide water bottles like most of the hotels do. Only 1 washing machine and dryer is available, and it’ll close after 10pm, which I find it troublesome due to the limited unit availability and operating hrs.

Excellent stay at Check Inn for 5 days with my family members. Had some nice and delicious eateries nearby. Less than 10 mins walk to MRT station and bus stations.

Overall it was alright, but the location was a bit inconvenient. The value for money was good. The room was a little dark, and I remember there being a convenience store, FamilyMart I think, about a three-minute walk away.

The hotel is a 5 to 10-minute walk from the Wenzhongqing Station. The room size is decent, and you can self-check-in and check-out. No breakfast is included. Overall, it's pretty good, and the price is acceptable. However, I personally prefer the Taichung Zhongshan Branch.

I seriously think these photos need an update... I've always known that CHECK INN operates by taking over old hotels, and I don't think that's bad at all, in fact, I think it's a smart strategy. BUT, if they take over a place and aren't willing to properly renovate or maintain it, aren't they just damaging their own brand? Honestly, last year I stayed at another 'CHECK INN' branch not far from here (I forget the exact name). The layout was a bit odd, but it was cleaner! Let's start with the pros here: The front desk staff were 100% polite and had excellent attitudes, highly recommend! The fact that the floors aren't carpeted is also a plus! Now for the cons: The facilities are genuinely weak... and they seem unwilling to properly fix or even maintain them! The lobby was a bit dim. When I got off the elevator, seeing the 'warning' sticker on the carpet was just ridiculous. Once I entered the room, I felt that 2800 for a Saturday night was already too expensive... The bathroom tiles were appalling, so dirty and damaged, and they haven't been repaired? And the showerhead is even more outrageous, they still haven't replaced it?? The duvet was torn, making me wonder if it's even changed when the room is cleaned... There's a visible gap along the side of the door, and no security chain either... If your neighbor takes a shower late (past 11 PM), you'll be woken up by the rumbling sound of the hot water (I thought something serious was happening)! And the bed was hard and bouncy... The creaking sound of the pillows and the leather headboard against the wall was quite loud... When my husband turned over in the middle of the night, I thought it was an earthquake! I honestly felt so grimy that I didn't even bother showering! Sorry...

The lobby is very spacious and comfortable. Parking is convenient.

The staff were really nice and professional. I lost my ring in the toilet and they did their best to help me find it.

the stay was great. safe area and friendly local staff ensured a pleasant experience and friendly atmosphere.

The dry area of the bathroom was clean, but there were obvious rust stains on the shower curtain in the wet area, and some dirt on the floor. Overall, it was acceptable. The towels had a distinct smell, I'm not sure if it was disinfectant or something else, but it was a bit too strong. There's no clear entryway, so shoes end up on the main walking path in the room. Many of the outlets were loose, and plugs easily fell out. Heavier adapters were completely unusable. The room itself was clean and free of strange odors. The refrigerator wasn't very cold; it only offered slight cooling, practically the same as not having one. Parking isn't exclusive, so if you return to the hotel late, you might not find a spot. The TV could directly connect to YouTube and Netflix, which was very convenient.

a budget hotel. not the best choice but if youre coming just for a day or a short stay, it’s fine.

Awesome hotel. Nice places, self laundry service available, MRT station just 8 minutes walk, hotel are clean and tidy, crew members are nice, friendly, polite, and helpful. 🫰🏻❤️🌈
