⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ A Week to Remember at Rosvenil Hotel Tacloban My two brothers, a friend, my partner and I had the pleasure of staying at Rosvenil Hotel Tacloban for one week last June, and it was truly a wonderful experience from start to finish. The hotel gave us a warm welcome the moment we arrived. Our rooms were always clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, making it easy to relax after spending the day exploring Tacloban. Housekeeping was consistent, and we appreciated how neat and cozy everything was throughout our stay. One of our favorite parts of each day was breakfast. We loved gathering together every morning to enjoy the delicious food while overlooking the hotel’s beautiful courtyard with its colorful umbrella canopy. It created such a relaxing and cheerful atmosphere that made every meal more enjoyable. What impressed us the most was the genuine hospitality of the staff. Every member of the team was friendly, courteous, and always willing to help. Their warm smiles and excellent service made us feel more like valued guests than just visitors. The hotel’s convenient location also made it easy for us to visit nearby restaurants, shopping areas, and attractions, making our trip even more enjoyable. We had a staycation at Rosvenil for the first time. As a local, I decided to enjoy a staycation within the downtown area and was able to book at a great rate here. We were very satisfied with our stay. The staff were all kind, accommodating, and quick to respond to our requests. One area for improvement would be the breakfast selection, though the staff were very gracious in meeting our needs. Overall, we had a wonderful experience and hope to stay again soon!

You get what you paid. I like this hotel’s location. Is it smacked in the city of Tacloban and everything is within walking distance. Staff are friendly and helpful. One bad point is the hotel room is dated, toilet is moldy. However, for the rates paid for the my three night stay, I think it is very worth - bed is comfortable, staff is friendly, breakfast provided.

Location was good, A/C was not that cold even if temperature was at the lowest The rate provides free breakfast from 6:30 to 9:30 am.We arrived at the restaurant at about 8am, and the food was already very cold. Plain rice was hard, corned beef fat/oil has formed/hardened, fried fish and chicken nuggets were also hard and super cold. There was no more bread refill.They said quality was not there so they no longer have pandesal/bread. They used to have candles or they light a fire below their food containers or displays,but I guess not anymore.

The location and service were absolutely fantastic, no complaints there. However, I was a bit confused that there was no refrigerator in the room. If you're staying here, be aware that any cold drinks you bring will warm up quickly.

What a beautiful place to stay.  A pity it was only one night.  Nice people providing nice service.  Room was fit for royalty!

Choose this hotel because it has a good location near the city center and it provides secure parking for the rental car I had. Hotel is old but maintained well. I would come back if in Tacloban.

I had a great stay at this hotel and would definitely recommend it. The location is fantastic—prime and easily accessible, making it very convenient for exploring the area. I had room service initiated even though I didn’t request it, which was a pleasant surprise. The staff were incredibly helpful and attentive, always ready to assist with anything we needed. The room itself was okay—comfortable enough with a working AC that kept us cool. The washroom was fine, though nothing exceptional. The hotel’s aesthetic is beautiful, with a great vibe that really adds to the experience. The Filipino breakfast options were delicious, and I really enjoyed starting the day with a hearty meal. Overall, this hotel offers great value with its helpful staff, excellent location, and good amenities. I’d definitely stay again!
